They have zero scriptural basis for anything future.. because they insist that the word of God can only speak to the past..

While I agree that our faith rests in the past perfect and finished work of Christ.. our hope rests in the future promises of God..

Little things like...

the resurrection of the dead..

the marriage of the Lamb to His wife..

eternal life..

the riches of Christ which shall never be exhausted.. even in the ages to come..

to name a few..

Its not a silly question, and I completely applaud you for being the first one to address the OP.


So let me see if I get this straight.

The Prophecy of Christs second coming, a future prophecy, is something you as an Amil believe, just to reiterate, correct?


And you also believe that Christ will descend, with a shout, and collect his bride correct?


Because there are other prophecies Id like to discuss with you, things that must take place before Christ returns, because he said so.

There were other things that needed to take place in Israel before he returned if the return was going to be immediately after the DofJ. It was not. The Father only decides that.

That's why there is nothing Judaic about Rom 8, I Cor 15, Heb 9, 2 Pet 3 about the return. It will happen but nothing happens in Israel in those passages.

Describe the four hoursemen and how that coorelates to the past prophecies..


If Christ comes to destroy the wicked with the sword of his mouth, when did that happen?

I thought Christ was returning in the future..
