Was it the Tannaitic period? Where they adjusted the calendar by months according to the cresent moon?

or perhaps during the Amoric period when they went from a calendar that followed lunar signs to a mathmatical formula.

or perhaps the latest variation, Anno Mundi that no longer throws in the extra month.

it is just not precise to base months on lunar months, but years on solart years, thus having to add so the holidays fall the same time period each year.

The weekly Sabbath has absolutely no relationship to the lunar phase. It never has. So there are no 'calendar' issues here.

Oh, well since you put it that way. It is hard to argue with such logic.

Some weeks had more than one sabbath. There was always a seventh day sabbath, saturday but other sabbaths or high days could appear at any time during the month. Most festivals had sabbath days. When Jesus was buried there were two sabbaths that week, the saturday and the feast of unleavened bread.

Exodus 20:10
