If the sun rotates around the Earth, and Earth never wavers from it's location, that means that the entire universe revolves around the Earth. I'm sorry to burst your bubble but thats just not true.

For the UNIVERSE to orbit the Earth would require the Earth to be so dense and heavy, think in the terms of moles of moles of moles of moles of moles of moles of neutron stars. Which still would be to light to cause sufficent gravitational force to pull the universe. A mole is 60200000000000000000000000 by the way. Were the Earth that dense, no object could be within lightyears and escape the gravity field, the Earth would be a black hole. We would not be able to survive because the grav force would rip us apart at the atomic level.

Now that we've established that the universe does NOT revolve around the Earth, you have to account for the fact that the stars move relative to us. If you look at the stars in February, and compare them to stars seen in the sky in August they are differant. The only explenation left is that the Earth revolves around the sun, spins on it's axis, and wobbles on said axis. This also accounts for the season changes.

But alas, you will probly credit all this to a great creator and not see the facts dancing naked in front of you. The Earth is about 150000000 km away, also called 1 AU or Astronomical Unit.

Actually, the questiona left are:
1) How fast are the distant stars moving around the earth? If the earth is fixed and stars have a distance of up to tens of billions of light years, then to move around the earth in 1 day they would be moving many times faster then the speed of light.

2) If the earth is fixed and everything revolves around it, why do the stars we see change seasonally?

3) If you brought all the stars close enough to travel around the earth at a descent speed, they would be too clustered and draw each other in with their gravitational forces.

You don't think it is as big as the "solar scale" says it is? Do you have any evidence for a different size? Without actual numbers for the size of the sun one wouldn't be able to calculate any distance from the above things.

Most creationists with 1/2+ of a brain (or maybe the others just don't believe in science) believe that the pertinent Scripture is meant to suggest that sunlight was only capable of penetrating the earth's atmosphere after the fourth day of creation.
