The return of Abaddon-Apollyon, a fallen angelic prince, is given in scripture and just who the human little human horn that this fallen angelic will possess is not known yet: [Revelation 9:11; 11:7; 17:8]

The little horn, a human king, will appear in the northern Middle East rising up among 10 other Middle Eastern kings who will follow him at the time of the end .... his appearance will occur just at the beginning of the tribulation period. [Daniel 7:7-25; 8:9-12; 8:23-25; 11:36-45; Revelation 9:1-11; 17:8]

Abaddon-Apollyon is the first beast of Revelation who will come out of the abyss .... released by satan himself. Here the term "beast" is used to describe a fallen angelic. [Revelation 9:1; 9:11; 17:8]

This term is used differently in Daniel's visions and symbolizes the succession of different Middle Eastern empires ... three historical and the future and last of Abaddon-Apollyon's human dominions. [Daniel 7:3-7 .... three of these are historical [neo-Babylon, Persia, and Syrio/Babylonia]; the fourth will emerge at the time of the end]

This final dominion will include two phases ... a 6th smaller dominion in the northern Middle East followed quickly by an expanded dominion of the region with 10 other kings. [Daniel 8:9; Revelation 17:10-14]

His presence, kingdom on the earth, and actions are noted specifically in Revelation chapters 9:11; 11:7; 13:1; 14:9; 16:13; 17:8; and 19:19. He is the "angelic prince" that shall come to rule again and stand against the Messiah Prince .... Jesus Christ at the time of the end. [Daniel 8:9-12; 9:24-27]

This beast [in the little horn, human king of the northern Middle East] will conquer the Middle East including Israel, and will fend off all other national opposition including the noted destruction of the "great city" [civilization] of the Gentiles [the nations]. [Daniel 11:36-44; Revelation 8:7-12; 14:8; 16:19; 17:16-18; 18:1-21; 19:1-3]

Those who oppose his rule from the south, far east, and far north outside of the Middle East proper will be vanquished. [Daniel 11:40-44]

The Lord's two Israelite prophets will stand for the Lord against this angelic prince [Abaddon-Apollyon] and his false prophet [also a fallen angelic who will manifest in two human cleric leaders .... two horns] during the 42 month rule of a conquered Israel [last 1,260 days of the 7 year tribulation period]. [Revelation 11:2-7; 13:11-18]

The Lord will protect His two prophets during their service which will take place in Jerusalem occupied by the little horn and his followers .... the adherents of Islam. [Psalms 83; Ezekiel 38:4-7; Micah 5:5]

The Lord will then turn on him and his human followers and destroy them in the next 30 days consumating at the battle of Armageddon. [Ezekiel 39:17-29; Revelation 14:14-20; 16:1-16; 19:20-21]

This angelic beast and the false prophet will be destroyed in the lake of fire [only the Lord can destroy angelics], the human little horn and his followers will become bird food and their remains will be buried by Israel, and satan will be tossed into the same abyss. [Ezekiel 39:9-16; Revelation 20:1]

This is a future picture of Israel and the nation's Middle Eastern enemies .... the adherents of Islam. Mohammud's claims of a visitation by the angel Gabriel were false, and he was most likely visited by satan himself .... or it is possible that he just made the whole story up to support his ambitions of control and conquest.

The situation in the Middle East today is ripe for the coming of the "other prince" .... the "Mahdi" of the Islamic nation.

However, Abaddon-Apollyon is the Hebrew and Greek for "destruction" or "destroyer"

Satan has and does meddle with all human self ruling governments on the earth, but the prophetic scriptures have focus and scope which seems to be limited to the Middle East where humans began to settle after the flood .... the theme is one of the Lord bringing attention full circle back to the same region for His end time intervention .... and His nation of Israel exists in the midst

Abaddon ruled last over the northern part of Alexander's broken Asian Empire in the Middle East ...... and the same was also involved with 4 prior rules of the Middle East [neo-Babylon, Media, Persia, and Alexander's holdings before his death] .... Daniel's visions give this succession [Daniel 2:31-39; 11:1-35; 8:1-8]

The vision then breaks and jumps to the time of the end [Daniel 8:9; 11:36]

Revelation parallels this track and adds more details .... this beast [Abaddon] of Revelation 17:8-14 once "was" ..... ruling over his first 5 asignments, and then was "not" ... and still to this day is not able to interact with humanity because he is in the abyss [Jude 1:6]

I would say that Abaddon, who is a real fallen angel, may have had some connection with the Greek "god" Apollo by naming because he was present during the Greek presence ....Alexander [the 4th] and Syrio/Babylonia [the 5th] were both assigned by satan to Abaddon

Destruction is Abaddon, and he is an unholy created spirit, a satan, who feeds on the flesh of Adam since the fall, when corruption entered the flesh temple made of dust, and defiled it, but the created evil spirits were never holy angels, in the Word.
There are fallen angels, in the Word, but the satans with their chief Satan are never called holy angels. who fell, in the Word.

The prince of the world had nothing in the flesh of Jesus, and for that reason, His flesh served as the True Mercy Seat which Moses typed as solid gold, in the oracles. Gold is incorruptible, and the flesh prepared in the womb of the virgin for His incarnation was "the New thing in the earth, when a woman compassed the "Geber", and His flesh did not corrupt while it lay in the tomb for 72 hours, because no "satan" had been able to enter His flesh for corruption/feeding on it, as Destruction does.

Abaddon, the unholy angel of Destruction feeds Sheol her victims, in the Word, but they are created forces, who do the will of God, and are called "evil spirits", in the Word =satans. They are not fallen holy angels.

You've created quite an elaborate construction here ... all in the future.

Have you considered that portions of prophecy might already have occurred? Consider just the "abyss" or "bottomless pit" for instance ... the Greek φρέατος directly translates 5421. φρÎ[bless and do not curse]αρ (phrear) -- a well as "well", "pit" or "cistern". The angel is given the "key" to this bottomless pit or "well" and what does the angel do with that "key"? He opens the pit so that smoke comes out, the air turns black and the sky is darkened.

Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Extremely graphic, isn't it? Surely, any Christian seeing such a sight would at least consider it as a possible fulfillment of prophecy, right? OK, maybe not ... after all, the modern world has seen its share of oil well blow-outs and fires ... amazing they are ... especially when 700 wells are set ablaze all at once ... really darkened the sky that one did. But, hey, it's not like any of the other specifics surrounding that event came close to fulfilling prophecy, right? Of course, there's that pesky matter of Saddam translating as Abaddon, Apollyon ... the destroyer. But, hey, we can disregard those two if we can just focus on one or two words which don't fit the prophecy, right? And how about all the other "trumpets"? We know for sure that none of those have happened, right?

Hmm ... so, if I'm overcome with cares of this life, then the events of Revelation will overtake me like a thief. But, if I see the events of Revelation come to pass, then I'll know that salvation is at hand.

None of the events related to the time of the end that the Lord projects in His discourse have taken place yet ..... all will occur during the coming 70th week decreed for Israel .... not before

There is a breach in the scope of the prophetic time line between the ending of the 69th week decreed [about 33 A.D.] and the the beginning of the 70th week still pending .... and we are still living in this breach .... so there are no events on the earth recorded in the breach

Many have attempted to insert historical events of the past into the breach and this has generated much division and controversy throughtout the professing church to this very day .... one must understand this in order to render the prophetic scriptures with accuracy

The Lord has not revealed the dating of the beginning of the resumption of the unfulfilled portion of the visions of the Bibel prophets

I notice that you can't refute the events which have occurred ...

Your only objection is that the events don't fit "your" timeline ... fine, but let's be very clear that's your only objection. Your timeline can be judged on its own merits.

Prophecy has been playing out as written ... like a soft musical passage slowly building to a crescendo ...

Yeah, i would like son_flower and yeshuasavedme to respond to this post. God's Word says specifically that Satan is a fallen angel. Also, in the creation account God called EVERYTHING Good that He made.

So if you two believe there are satan's that were never fallen and were always bad you believe either A) God created the most evil beings conceivable that only desire murder, lying, rape, etc OR B) There are things that exist OUTSIDE of God's creation, meaning they are equal with God since they did not require God to be created but rather existed on their own just like God.

It's scary to read some of the very ANTI-Biblical stuff that gets thrown around on these "Christian" boards....
