There are massive problems with trying to explain the origin of the universe and our solar system by non-supernatural forces. I would recommend watching the two excellent videos by Spike Psarris, available from creationastronomy.com. It's almost as if God, knowing that scoffers would come along in the future, deliberately made the universe impossible to explain without His divine guidance. According to Spike's video series, entitled, "What you aren't being told about astronomy", every planet in our solar system and many of their moons, defy a naturalistic explanation for either their existence or for their physical attributes. The same goes for other objects in the universe, such as stars and galaxies.

What are Spike Psarris' credentials regarding astrophysics and cosmology? According to that link he has a B.S in electrical engineering. I'll stick with the experts with published peer reviewed studies instead of someone with no formal education or training in the fields of physics, cosmology and astronomy.

All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away... - 1 Peter 1:24
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. - Revelation 12:12
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. - James 4:14

Science has found a galaxy about 13 billion light years from earth. If we are only expanding out at a rate of 68 km/sec, or 150,000 mph

13 billion light years = 76,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles
76,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles / 150,000 mph = 500,000,000,000,000,000 hours
500,000,000,000,000,000 hours / 8760 hours in a year = 57,000,000,000,000 Years

To go to the distant galaxy at the rate of the current expansion of the universe would take 57 trillion years. In which by the time you got there you would find space at the temperature of absolute zero. Compared to times we use to measure astrology our lifespan is a mere spit in the bucket. We are not that far away from having our ashes returned to the earth. You had better make sure your eternal reckonings are correct, we are very close to having our souls cast out into the great eternal sea!

Imagination....

Something passes by the human flesh...

Eyes - The rods and cones senses the wavelength of the image causing the lens in the eye to focus and the cornea to direct the correct amount of light to the fovea centralis where the image is sensed. The optical nerve then directs the many patterns and wavelengths of light to the brain for processing. The cornea is lubricated with tears and the eyeball must remain clear for the image to be sensed.

Ears - The noise passed by bones in the ear, which amplify the sound, and the cochlea changes the sound to neurological signals, which tells the brain the frequency of the sound.

Nose - Humans can distinguish more than 10,000 different smells (odorants), which are detected by specialized olfactory receptor neurons lining the nose.... It is thought that there are hundreds of different olfactory receptors, each encoded by a different gene and each recognizing different odorants.

Touch - Your skin contains tiny nerve endings that create your sense of touch. When you experience sensations such as pain or heat or cold, or feel things that are soft or sticky or sharp, the bottom layer of your skin, called the dermis, sends messages to your brain about the sensation.

The brain senses the object passing his way and then the motor neurons then search the memory neurons for references as to what this object is. If it is something that the dream deems pleasant the spiritual recptors inside the heart then triggers the spiritual senses and the body then senses spiritual E/c2... E (Energy, motivation, warmth, love, delight) c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy, goodness, etc.).

There is also an unconsciousness mental processor that takes what has been stored in the brain and builds things like imagination and dreams. These imagings either produce E (Energy, motivation, warmth, love, delight) c2 (light, faith, hope, charity, joy, goodness, etc.) or the opposite of E/c2 ... Z/d (absoute zero, cold, repulsion, hate, disappointment) d(darkness, fear, despair, greed, sorrow, corruption, etc.).

All done by a brain with only 100 billion brain cells. You must think that processing involved for the brain to sense an object before it in multimedia must take in itself 10 billion brain cells as the brain builds an imaginary scenario of what just happened.

It is the atheist who has the very good imagination to believe that all of this came into reality by itself.

God did it is not an explanation....
It's not supposed to be an explanation, but it makes just as much sense as believing that the universe just popped into existence all on its own and then, by a series of fudge factors such as employment of so-called Dark Matter and Dark Energy, we have the universe we see today. Why, we even now know for sure what 4% of the universe consists of. Sounds like faith to me, just like the faith that life could have arisen from lifeless chemicals all on its own - now where have I heard that word before? - oh yes, it's a religious term.

He doesn't need to be an expert - he's presenting knowledge gained by other experts and putting it all together in a way that anyone can understand. Peer reviewing is apparently not such a transparent thing as one might imagine either from what I've heard. You should take a look at the brilliant new DVD entitled "Evolution's Achilles' Heels" where 15 experts in their respective fields comment on such topics as genetics, cosmology, the origin of life, the fossil record and geology to name just a few. If you have an open mind you might even start to doubt some of the naturalistic nonsense that is currently masquerading as science.

How do you figure that out? "Putting it all together" had better be done by somebody who knows what he is talking about.

By twisting the facts and claiming he has falsified the experts? Yet he is unwilling to submit a paper to a scientific publication. You don't need to be an expert to get accepted by a journal if your science is good. Why won't he do this?

Peer reviewing is apparently not such a transparent thing as one might imagine either from what I've heard.

Can you cite one creationist paper that was submitted to a journal and was unfairly rejected? Be sure to include why you think it was unfairly rejected.

You should take a look at the brilliant new DVD entitled "Evolution's Achilles' Heels"

I wouldn't consider propaganda that continues to spread the same old creationists lies and complete misrepresentation of facts as 'brilliant'. I would consider it intellectual laziness.

From the film makers: Mutations are known for their destructive effects, including over 1,000 human diseases such as hemophilia. Rarely are they even helpful. But how can scrambling existing DNA information create a new biochemical pathway or nano-machines with many components, to make ‘goo-to-you’ evolution possible?

This is a blatant misrepresentation of biology and genetics. To suggest that mutations are mostly harmful is a complete lie. It's nonsense.

where 15 experts in their respective fields comment on such topics as genetics, cosmology, the origin of life, the fossil record and geology to name just a few.

Name these experts and cite their contributions to their field (Peer reviewed and published papers). Because in science, you are judged on your contributions, not what your degree says. Also, find how many times they have been cited in other papers, this is also a good indicator of how good of a scientist they are.

If you have an open mind you might even start to doubt some of the naturalistic nonsense that is currently masquerading as science.

I do have an open mind. However, I do not tolerate misrepresenting of facts, intellectual dishonesty and laziness and lies. All of which creationists have been demonstrably guilty of.

There may be as many as 700 trillion cells in a human body, all working together for the good of a functioning body. Every square inch of skin contains...

*11 miles of blood vessels
*650 sweat glands
*60,000 Melanin making cells for color
*1,000 nerve endings

We are an intricately designed creation! Melanin is a pigment found throughout the body, including the eyes, brain, hair and skin. There are two main varieties: the rarer pheomelanin -- with a reddish-yellow color -- and the more common eumelanin, which varies from dark brown to black. It primarily functions as an absorber of ultraviolet light, which is beneficial, but it also contributes to melanoma, a deadly form of skin cancer as well.

There is a lot of organic chemistry that occurs to make skin and hair color! All designed by a great orgainic chemist in which we Christians call God the Father.
