Temples Question

I've seen some fairly odd drawings on the net depicting Ezekiel's Temple and showing features which were nothing like Herod's temple. So either that temple did not exist at Christ's time, or maybe we're not reading it correctly.

Maybe I'm just a nutcase, but I interpret the written Word of God as having an effect on society. IOW, it shapes nations, causes things to happen, frames the ages, and, as I suspect, whatever it is that was formed out of the waters by the Word of God is actually what was described using the pattern of the temple by Ezekiel. Christ said Himself that He had sheep of another fold. I think He knew where to look for them because it was all designed by the wisdom of God.

Well, if you're not Sola Scriptura, I guess there's no point in trying, right?

I'm a Southern Baptist meaning that I consider the scriptures to be the sole authority. If you can show me from scripture when the temple of Ezekiel will be build then you would be the first one.

ETA: I believe that this temple is the temple that Jesus will occupy during the millennium reign.
