The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. After some prayer, talking with a counsellor here at the shelter, and talking with a couple of people online, I have decided to go ahead and post this.
For those who don't know, Sara is currently in hospital, in ICU, unconscious. She has been there since late Saturday night.
Please pray for her healing and recovery.

Sara we all here at CF Miss you and pray that you come back to us, May God heal your precious body. We love you girl, I have missed your posts in the WD I asked about you and I was directed to this thread. God bless you and keep you hun.

SARA REGAINED CONSCIOUSNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She has gone from a level 1 to a level 3 on the scale (forget the name of it) but that's a good thing. She isn't coherant or anything but she's responding well apparantly. They will keep her in ICU for another 24 hours or so, if she continues to be responsive they will move her to a ward. Yay!!!!!

Praise God, Sara I'm feel so much better knowing your ok, you sure have had me worried and you have been added to my church prayer list and I want pull you off until your better 100%... I feel like some waits have been lifted knowing your gonna be ok

Just an update...
Sara has been moved from ICU to a general ward for recovery. She is doing ok with her physical recovery, she has been talking and responding to people. Her emotional recovery though isn't going as well. She has told the police what happened, once, and now refuses to talk or even acknowledge any of it. The counsellor and hospital psychologist are worried about how she is handling all this.
At this stage it looks like she will be in hospital for at least another 2 weeks. Please keep on praying for her complete recovery. Thankyou!!

Lord Jesus, I pray for complete healing for Sara,
Physically, Mentally and Spiritually. I pray that you would bring people into her life that will be compassionate and caring. I pray that you would guide and direct doctors, phychologist, nurses, counsellors, etc. Be with her right now Lord, let your presence fill that hospital room.
