AV, do you agree that if there were a global flood that ALL strata, no matter where they were obtained on the planet, should have one specific layer at the same specific time point in common?

From what I've seen, I think AV's position is that God cleaned up afterwards, leaving little if any evidence of a great flood behind.

Which still has problems with evolution, but not geology.

How do you demonstrate this?
Well, you pick a date or layer for when you think the flood was near. I have such a guess, and that is somewhere around the KT layer area. To demonstrate your deposit is older is simple, just look at the geo column.

Why do you pick the K-Pg (K-T, end-Creteacous) as your "flood layer" when there is no evidence of a globally synchronous flood at this point in time?

The waters came from beyond space..windows of heaven..and deep below the earth....iridium is said to also come from the same places.

The water that flooded the Earth came from Space? Again, what evidence is there of a flood at the Cretaceous extinction? The iridium layer is well documented, but is not associated with globally synchronous flood deposits. In some places, it is deposited in terrestrial settings indicating that the bolide impact did not cause a global flood as some areas clearly remained sub-aerially exposed

The firmament is space. Portals were opened to bring the water beyond this firmament to earth. Also, of course waters came up from under the earth.

Maybe it should be since THE worldwide flood came from space and under the earth just like science says the deposits do! We also have a big extinction in the record around then. If the shoe fits....

Forget the impact, that could be a fountain of the deep remnant that shot water UP so now prove which direction the impact was from up or down!!?

Wait, did the water come from above or below? Which are you claiming the Bible claims?

Also, the people who wrote the Bible had a weird idea of "the firmament" in that they thought it was some sort of barrier above which heaven lay. No heaven or firmament there though

Careful, soon you'll attract the attention of the flat earthers who claim that there's no such thing as outer space and all of the world's governments are hiding the fact that we live in a giant snowglobe.

A giant simulation of a snowglobe...

I don't know what the people who believe that are smoking, but I want some
