The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest recently obtained St. Joseph's Catholic Church from the Archdiocese of Detroit, now called St. Joseph Oratory. From what I've read, St. Joseph's was established by German immigrants, and has a rich musical heritage. Which makes it's adoption by the Institute of Christ the King very apropos considering their focus on liturgical music. (Wiki article on parish)

Considering Detroit's experiencing a resurgence of sorts, I definitely wouldn't mind moving there if I found a job after graduating. Being a part of this parish community would undoubtedly be amazing.
