Spousal Age Difference

My husband is exactly 3 years and 2 months older than me. But it feels like we're the same age because I act older and he acts younger.

In fact, I don't see a big difference in him since we met 15 years ago. That's not a dig either, he's a lot of fun and makes me laugh. He's not immature, just lighthearted.

dh and I are 5 years apart but the only thing that omes up is at his class reunion when his best friend was teasing us, saying "Hey Neil when we were walking down the isle to get our diplomas, your wife was 12 hahaha" we all laughed so hard!

when i was about 23 or so, i thought it was sickening for a 50 to 60 year old to date a 21 or 18 or 25 year old... i couldn't stomach it myself.. (my 45 year old aunt, w/ a 22 year old daughter, was dating a 20 year old man) & anytime i would try to get used to it--because the guy was nice--a picture of my dad, or my uncle jim would jump into my head, and i would feel physically sick...

now? i am 34..i am married, yes, but it doesn't bother me as much as it did... i thought i always knew that the older i got, the more okay i would be w/it. so i worked hard to be okay w/it then... and i think it worked...
