Ever read a christian comic book?

when I was a kid, my mom gave me as an easter present a set of comic books called "The Illuminator" it was a Christian superhero that was put out by Marvel and Christian publisher Thomas Nelson

I do not wish to sound negative, but I think "Christian art" has kind of gone down in quality
like, I think most Christian art has too much emphasis on being "creedal" instead of focusing on the quality of the art and in morals

have you ever read anything by C.S. Lewis?
I have not read a lot, but I have read Screwtape Letters and parts of Mere Christianity

I started to read to The Screwtape Letters and The Great Divorce. I don't remember why I stopped reading the Great Divorce, it's a fun read, maybe I was juggling other books?
The Great Divorce... I read a few pages and felt like I had to put it down, I'm not ready.

Do you like/read memoirs?

Christian or non?

good books are good books, I normally do not divide them up by if they are Christian or not

because I am not sure what a "Christian book" is
other then a book about Christianity

people are Christian

some really good books, I really like The Great Gatsby

ok,

hmmm recommendations for you

The Power And The Glory by Graham Greene, it is about a time in the 1920's when Catholics were being percecuted in Mexico, the main character is an unnamed priest who is not always a very good Christian, he struggles with sins of selfishness and is an alcoholic, but he tries to be a good person, it is a weird book but very moving

Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury, about two best friends, I think they are like 12 or 13, it is about coming of age, and an evil supernatural carnival that comes to town
Oh, almost forgot to ask. How tall are you?

6 foot

and anyone I meet with atleast half a brain (and that is not everyone lol) I recommend 1984 by George Orwell, that book changed my life, it made me love reading
I read it when I was like 14 and I have probably read it 5 times sense then

you seem smart enough to appreciate it, but I am not sure it is something you would like.... I dunno
have you read it before?

I haven't. I had it in my hands not to long ago, but opted for one of the Shopaholic books hahahaha my brain needed a break.

I'll look into it.
