I'd like my death to be done by my own hands, when I'm old and ready to go. I think that would be ideal. Definitely a preferred alternative to being miserable in a nursing home as a vegetable, and definitely preferred to dying in some freak accident when I still have things I want to do.

This is a grim thread. I suppose my response is just as gruesome though.

I've always thought that If I couldn't quietly, painlessly pass away in my sleep or just have God disappear me to Heaven where he is at, then a firing squad would be the way to go. Probably about the quickest, most painless way to go.
