Generally, these two groups don't particularly like one other. I can't easily imagine them teaming up together on an issue.

I can only now imagine the out cry from PETA claiming that Pete's lasso represents animal cruelty because lassoes are used to rope animals. And I can see them changing the lasso to the university flag. Oh, how lame this will be.
