Do you ever experience nostalgia, or a longing for the past?

yep. I miss the Army. The longer I am out, the more I think of my years of service and the experiences - both good and bad.

Sometimes I am a little nostalgic, but I think each stage of life has its advantages and disadvantages, I wouldn't want to go back.

Every day. Of course, I'm not old enough to be authentically nostalgic, IE to actually "yearn" for the "old days," but I do have many pleasant memories of the "past."

You shouldn't be. It's appropriate. If I had positive feelings for my past I would probably be a drunken wife beaten meth selling unemployed cop.

That's what I say. Overcoming your past is one of the most positive things an individual adult can do. Even if you liked it.

Not my personal past. I mean there've been some great times in the past, but its hard to have great times in the future if you're living in the past.

I do thing many people long for that mythical better times.

I often feel nostalgic for the past, even the not-so-great parts. It's not something I dwell on constantly but when I'm feeling discontent with the present it's nice to remember the way things were and all the wild and crazy things I did. I've changed a lot and sometimes I miss the way I was and the things I used to do, so it's nice to reflect.

I feel nostalgia for old SNES games, I have a steadily growing collection to reclaim my old glory. It's too bad I can't find any copies of Super Mario RPG, or Lagoon, I'll just have to settle for the emulators I suppose.

That and surge. Anyone remember that stuff? It was great, like caffeiniated sprite, for a while it replaced mountain dew as my favorite soft drink. Whatever happened to that stuff?

I remember Surge. I never drank it. Whenever someone drank it they would get horribly HYPER. I bet they took it off the market because of that in some way..

I mainly feel nostalgia in the form of wanting to talk with people that I have lost touch with for quite a while.
