New and needing convincing...

Alright, so I'll admit that I was turned on to this place by them crazy 4chan folks. Apparently there was a raid here...? Whatev.

Either way, that's not why I'm posting. The reason I took the time to register with you is because I am of mixed beliefs. I was raised on Christianity, and moved on to a form of spiritism. I guess my problem is that I need a little more...convincing. Taking a book at face value seems a terrible mistake, especially with so much on the line. When there are so many things for a person to believe in, this decision seems like something you wouldn't trust to a guess. I know that this thread is either:

1) Going to be removed and get me bannz0rd immediately because I am willing to admit that I'm a /b/tard. I hope this isn't the case, because I'm not here to flame. If that were the case, this post would be filled to overrunning with flame.

2) Going to draw the attention of a million believers telling me to just believe, and trust in the Lord. Maybe it's just something that you 'get', and I don't...but I just dun' understand, I suppose.

Anyway, if I do get B&, I'm sorry for wasting your time, and mine. May you go in the peace of whatever divinity you reviere. And thank you for allowing me to speak my piece.

Are all problems solved around here with quotes? Both recent, and archiac? Cause that didn't really help. Look, I'm giving you do-gooders the opportunity to convert me. I do this for my fiancee, and your scriptures ect. tell her that even dating me is a sin, let alone marriage. I am somewhat hoping that somebody can instill an iota of faith or Jesus, or whatever Tom Jones Kool-Aid you guys serve around here. Maybe this is a mistake, and *I* should be converting *her*. Or I'm just evil. Whatev.

No not all problems are solved by quotes! Actually not all problems are solved period.

This certain area you are in is just the "introduction" of new members. You'll find lots of topics where you can post your specific questions.

No one can "convert" you. It's your choice whether or not you want to accept Gods love, forgiveness and grace.

I do hope you find what your searching for. You do sound like you're very upset by something.
