Hi there,
So if there was a game you didn't know how to play - would you try to win, it using Evolution?
Thanks.

No.Hi there,

Sure, would you attempt to o learn it by reading the bible?Hi there,

Well, in some cases, we can do exactly this.Hi there,

Only if the game was to build an airplane using scrap parts at the scrap yard. We could use all the old parts and come up with a bigger, better, faster, more fancy plane.Hi there,

I would use human selection rather than natural selection. It works faster.Hi there,

Way faster... but if you can leave a computer using natural selection to make an algorithm to win the game, it might get a better answer then you would have had the patience to come up with on your own.I would use human selection rather than natural selection. It works faster.
Until they create a algorithm to disable or defeat your algorithm.Way faster... but if you can leave a computer using natural selection to make an algorithm to win the game, it might get a better answer then you would have had the patience to come up with on your own.
At which point that algorithm would selected for in what could be called the evolution of evolutionary code.Until they create a algorithm to disable or defeat your algorithm.
Then you run the systems that built both against each other till it reaches equilibrium, and you've got a local maxima at least.Until they create a algorithm to disable or defeat your algorithm.

I think my system would teach me bridge quicker
It would be a competition between the programmers and most likely one of them would be better then the other. That is something I would like to see. As it is all a programmer has to do is create a program that does not crash and very few of them seem to even be able to do that. Then you run the systems that built both against each other till it reaches equilibrium, and you've got a local maxima at least.
If you want to read the Bible then you will need the Holy Spirit of God to help you understand what your reading. There are lots and lots of demonstrations on this board of the futility of the natural man trying to understand what is spiritual. Only those that are born again can understand the things of God.Sure, would you attempt to o learn it by reading the bible?

Not unless the game involved life, if it didn't then I would use the Bible because I could then make up my own rules.Hi there,

Sooner or later you'll make up a rule that the Bible disagrees with. Not unless the game involved life, if it didn't then I would use the Bible because I could then make up my own rules.
of course i wouldn't.Hi there,
