...The meaning of The Bible is to give a human an idea about the true creator God and mans situation he finds himself living in. Which is a sinned wrecked world which at this moment of time is being ruled by satan.

...God shows man how to receive His free gift of Eternal Life and become a born again child of God by belief in Jesus. That way man may receive The Life of God and live with God for all of eternity in the new earth. Where all this trouble, death, pain will be left behind which is part of this current life, but not part of the new life to come.

I believe the Lord gives us His testimony to the meaning of the Bible. He tells us the meaning of our lives ( explained in detail by the law & prophets) in Matthew 22:36-40. The Lord tells us the law & prophets are the way of living life ( Matthew 7:12, from the greater context of Matthew 7:1-12). The Lord tells us His purpose as is written in the law, prophets, & psalms concerning Him ( see Luke 24:44-48).

Other Old Testament books are of those who faithfully contended for God’s revelation to us. For ex. Nehemiah 1:1-11. While the testimony of the Bible really challenges at times, this is what our Lord fulfilled & declared as established ( Matthew 5:17-20). While we should carefully study the Bible, St. Paul gives us the succinct answer in Romans 13:8-10.

Beware that what St. Paul tells us is misunderstood by the worldly mindset. Beware the worldly mindset tries to co-opt the love of God ( 1 Corinthians 13:1-13) as per Ephesians 5:1-7, 1 John 2:1-29 etc.).
