Multiple Jan. 6 demonstrators outside of the D.C. jail said they had kicked Taranto out of their group on Saturday after he attempted to play a video that showed the death of Ashli Babbitt in front of her mother.

SITE linked Taranto to his social media accounts by cross-checking them with his public records. He had an active YouTube channel that was under his name and included videos of himself speaking and inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, she said.
“Review of his posts revealed an obsession with Trump and conspiracy theories,” Katz wrote. She added: “In recent weeks, many of his posts included reports referring to Obama as ‘coaching up left-wing house Democrats in private meetings’ and claiming Obama is contributing to a shadow government aimed at destroying Trump.”

So was this information already out there or was this new? Yeah not new a simple fact that Obama's address was known. What makes this wrong is being a past President he did known better. Granted all the stuff done to him all the lies and threats against him his wife his kids! That just doesn't get a post of how wrong it was to ever do that. Same here this should never have been done. For people questioning why motions were made to keep both the juror list anonymous in one Trump case as well as the witness list in the other Trump case, this gives a little insight into why that was a prudent decision by those in charge of overseeing the two cases.

Certain rabid supporters clearly throw caution to the wind and will do something extremely stupid when they get their hands on certain information, and his propensity for putting that information out is a dangerous combo.

This guy was clearly bold enough move in towards a president's home (where he knew there was going to be a robust secret service detail), imagine what followers would do if he got his hands on the Juror list and witness list in his two cases and decided to "bathroom tweet" out their information on a whim, they don't have the luxury of having a 24/7 security detail comprised of former special forces operators.

In the live stream, Taranto allegedly made several statements indicating he intended to blow up his van at the facility, claimed that he had a detonator, was on a “one way mission” and that his vehicle was self-driving so he could be far away when it “went off.”

A search [of his vehicle after his arrest] revealed a machete, 400 rounds of ammunition and two handguns, prosecutors said. Government records indicate that the two 9mm pistols were among 20 firearms registered to Taranto, prosecutors said, but the locations of the 18 others are unknown.

Taranto, 37, was charged last month with four counts of misdemeanor trespassing, disorderly conduct at the Capitol riot and parading in the Capitol. Prosecutors have since said they plan to bring unspecified felony charges against Taranto.

The only reporter that has paid much attention to Taranto is Ryan Reilly of NBCNews. The biggest attention he has gotten is as the defendant in a lawsuit filed against him and a Capitol Hill chiropractor by Erin Smith. She claims her husband was attacked by those two inside the Capitol and got a concussion. The suit further alleges that that concussion lead to a deep depression for Officer Smith and his suicide a few days later.

Since then Taranto has relocated from Washington state where he was an IT manager for a county Republican party and has spent time with the Jan6-cult at their nightly "rallies" outside the DC jail where the OSINT people have been keeping track of him. (He's not the only uncharged Jan6er who hangs out at those "rallies".)

I've known who Taranto was for nearly two years and very little of it has to do with "the media".

That would violate causality since on Jan 6th, 2021 Merrick Garland was a Judge on the US Court of Appeals for the DC circuit (and former Chief Judge) and Biden was the President-elect. How could have Jan 6th been an op run by Garland DOJ when no such thing existed yet?

The other possibility is that you mean the investigations are a "covert government operation led by Merrick Garlands DOJ, a show piece for Bidens 2024 election bid". No investigation is overt, but once someone is arrested, proceedings are very much public. Investigating, charging, and trying those who committed federal crimes *is* one of the purposes of the DOJ. That is what they are doing.
