I find that liberal Christians can inform me on the issues of compassion that I don't normally think of or understand. Sometimes compassion seems to cloud their thoughts, but from a standpoint of personal holiness I find this preferable to cold intellect. Being wise as serpents and gentle as doves is the art of living.
