I was just thinking This as I am on phone right now. For almost every one has a blog and everycompany needs to be online now and is has changed the way people do business. What do you think?
Right now I'm watching as my family members who are graduating high school struggle to use computers and even the internet.
Woah, woah. I am assuming they're between 15-30 yo (I have no idea how old you can be when finishing high school). But.. I can't believe that because I am no real tech freak or nerd but I'm capable of using computers the way they're supposed to be used.. Why are they struggling so much? I can't imagine it lol.
Right now I'm watching as my family members who are graduating high school struggle to use computers and even the internet. They are so ill prepared, and everyone else thinks they've got it down because they can log onto Facebook and use iTunes. Unfortunately they have no idea how to really use the internet beyond a few social media sites, they can't type correctly (and thus are very, very slow at it), have basically NO troubleshooting skills whatsoever, and they have no idea how to protect themselves online (always clicking ads, don't know how to read URL bars, refuse to learn how to run anti-malware software, etc).
I get an email on my telephone when someone responds to one of my posts. I do not remember signing up for any of that, it is all sort of automatic. Even facebook people can text me on my phone. We have come a long way from when a computer was the size of a room and you had to punch holes in a card to get information into the computer. Do not fold, spindle or mutilate. I just wish it was more standardized. I do not like having to figure out how to do new stuff on the computer.I was just thinking This as I am on phone right now. It always make me happy when I a family at work who purposely stack their phones or something. My only problem with technology is that people have their noses in their phone so much that it might as well be attached to their face. They can rarely carry on a conversation but they can text you until their fingers fall off. Take their phones or internet away and they start hyperventilating. I am speaking in generalities and not specifics.
How did they make it through school?Right now I'm watching as my family members who are graduating high school struggle to use computers and even the internet. I think that is a great thing for families or even friends to do. Put the phones away, at least until the meal is over, and talk to each other. It always make me happy when I a family at work who purposely stack their phones or something.
