What Greater Love could one show to God than to cling to Him and His Instruction in Righteousness that the Jesus of the bible said to "Seek Ye First", in a world that pretty much rejects God's Judgments and "instruction in Righteousness". In the examples given for our admonition, (Law and Prophets) would this God and Father of the Lord's Christ not be pleased with such a man, and say to him, "Well done good and Faithful Servant", even as HE did to His Son who refused to adopt the traditions and doctrines of the religions of the world God placed Him in?
It is written in the Testimony, "
But whoso keepeth his word, "in him" verily is "the love of God perfected": hereby know we that we are in him.6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Is it not God's Love that is to be shared with others? The Love of the New Man "
which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness".
The undeniable Biblical Truth is that the "One True God", according to Scripture, Esteems Saturday, the 7th day, above the other 6 days of the week. It is Holy unto God, and is to be Holy unto God's People, as it is also written. For me, I don't care what day another man Esteems above others or doesn't Esteem above others. What matters, according to Paul, is Keeping the Commandments of God.
Yes, this world's religions reject and pollute God's Sabbaths, as they always have, as clearly shown in Scripture. But are we not to be a Separate People, "Learned of God" regarding how to live Godly and Righteously in this present age?
Titus 2:
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
If a man rejects God's instruction on how to live Godly, Righteously and Holy in this present age, how can he have the Love of God in him? How can this man then Love others with Godly Love?
Is this man not just another of the "many" who call Jesus Lord, Lord, but
walk according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:?
How can we have God's Love in us, if we reject His Love.
1 John 5:
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 "For this is the love of God", that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
