There is nothing wrong with leaving the Christian religion. It has become perverted and polluted over the centuries. Just don't turn your back on Jesus.

Agreed. I believe the difference between religion and faith is that religion is the rules (often man made) and faith is the relationship (with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit). This is why I put myself down as non-denominational. My relationship with God is not determined by the rules and teachings of the church I attend. In saying that I'll be changing churches soon because I do not like the attitudes of many of the people in my current one.

Then they are not being real Christians. Remind them when they are not being nice.
