A 2-hour labor with a first baby? You better watch out if you have another. It will be born in a car!

Thanks everyone! Actually this was my wifes second baby. Our first daughter is now three, and that labor lasted about 15 hours.. but the epideral worked that time. We were very thankful that the delivery came only a couple of hours after the serious pain started. They gave her demerol and while it didn't help with the pain it made her a tad loopy. I'm proud to report that she didn't cuss, and she didn't wreck my hand too much. She did great, even as I sat beside her feeling quite useless. It was a great experience in the end and we really felt like the Lord was with us. Superintending and acting as the Great Physician.

Mom and baby will be home tomorrow. My daughter is very anxious to meet her little sister.
