Hi, I am glad you joined CF and hope you settle in well and make some good friends here. I am sorry you felt the need to leave Church. Though I am glad you are still close to Jesus, which yes is important. However as you say you have stopped reading the Bible, you need His word in your life to direct you, guide you and bring you wisdom and strength. His promises and word will strengthen your faith and therefore will give power to your prayers ( faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God) if your word of God level is low, your faith level will be low. And if you want to make a bigger impact in advancing the Kingdom of God you need to be increasing in faith and in using the word of God.

I encouarge you to get back into the word of God - it is His love letter to you.
