Why are we arguing about something that is clearly demonstrated in the Hebraic-Jewish tradition?! They believed that there were some words that were too holy to speak of, and that included God. Hence, the G-d, and the YWHY. it might seem wierd to us because we belive in the ability to be close to God and have personal relationship with him. That isn't something practiced in Judaism.

I say GOD...and JESUS...and the HOLY SPIRIT. It is just the way I write...I am not just being respectful...I am trying to mean that GOD is higher than everything else. It is weird...but I do it...I have done it for quite a while though!

P.S. I believe that what they mean with G-D is that the vowel deal. It is because they used to do that in the OT...just to show the sacredness of GOD...yeah, I have said my peace!
