She went to see her doctor again, and her heart rate is back up and they cannot get it down.
This - in spite of the cumidim she is taking.
They just dont know what's wrong with her.

So she was sent back to the hospital.

I will say a prayer for her.

A high heart rate is an indicator for when an infant is in a lot of pain. When my daughter, who was a preemie, was in the neonatal intensive care unit and had to have emergency life saving surgery on her intestines when she was less than 4lbs, the main way that they assessed whether she was in pain was if her heart rate elevated. How much her heart rate was elevated gave them an indicator of how much pain she was in. When her heart rate would go too high, they would add more pain medication in her IV and then her heart rate would go down.

Not good. Prayers for her. I will take the prayers to adoration today and with me as I go on my Cursillo Retreat, this evening for the weekend. May the angels surround her and our Blessed Mother enfold her in her mantle, may our Lord regulate her heart beat with His very own. Amen
