A lot of stuff in this article that dovetails quite snugly with the evidence discussed in so-called "alternative" science books such as Cataclysm!, by Allan and Delair.
For example, they discuss here that given enough water, mass, and motion, huge chasms like the Grand Canyon could have been carved out in three-quarters of an hour, rather than over the course of millions of years, as the Standard Template would have us believe.
And that's just one example. Of course, the smug and erudite "edjukatud" types will chortle into their oatmeal and airily dismiss it, because if you simply can't manage to divorce yourself from the archaic and obsolete concepts contained in Lyellian uniformitarianism, then it's "impossible" that what is described here could have "ever happened".
And so they go ignorantly on their way, just as narrow-minded and hidebound as the creationists they used to smirk about 100 years ago, because they're so "scientifically"-minded that they can't accept any evidence that falls outside of what they were taught, lo, so many years ago.
