As I said before, God is not limited to the pages of the Bible.
He is infinite. He also invented fun. :p

The intellect requires proof; the spirit knows by the spirit. It's hard to explain in words....
That's where you are wrong.

God is holy and cannot contradict Himself or any member of the Godhead.

It is not me saying that. God says that. So you are not following Gods commands but making your own. Using your own intellect as you have described.

That is one way to test the spirits. That is what Gods Word tells us to do so we are not lead astray.

"Beloved, test every spirit to know if they are from God"

I did not say, nor do I believe, that God contradicts Himself.
I did not say I was using my intellect - in fact, I pretty much said I wasn't.
I did not say anything against testing things by the Word.
You are completely misunderstanding me.

No I'm not. You said your spirit believes Rodney Howard Brown is of the spirit.

What happens at RHB events, contradicts what Gods Word says we are to be in the Spirit.

So I said you should test the Spirits against Gods Word. We are warned of wolves in sheeps clothing.

You are advocating for a particular person. That's what you said

God does not condone drunkeness.

It's not like people choose their emotions.

Unless one has PBA or a head injury, then yes people can choose and control themselves.

As far as the OP no I do not believe acting like your drunk is of God, it is pure humans who want a release from rigidity and than blame God for them letting loose. Nothing wrong with letting loose just don't blame God for it.

No, your initial response is automatic. You can mitigate it a little, like you can try to calm yourself, but basically if you are afraid it's an automatic response, if you are happy you are happy. The hormones and neurotransmitters that control it are released already.

I do own my own words; that should be obvious. I just don't own the ones you put in my mouth.
There is no reason for me to want to put words into your mouth? So then I can carry on a conversation with myself and the words I put in your mouth? That does not sound interesting at all

a person that I would consider to be truly "drunk in the Spirit" would be someone like saint francis of assisi or insert any person that lived in the love of God.
