I saw the full speech on most of the media sites I frequent.
I don't think anyone was denying that Trump said this, and certainly I haven't seen any Media trying to hide this.

There is a video of MTG, a despicable woman, where here words are edited one by one to form new sentences. A similar complaint some scholars gave me to ancient aliens in it's first season. All's fair in politics. Soon it'll be AI deep fakes showing whatever the new consumer wants to get angry about.

I was a Trump supporter and I know many others who also were supporters. Not one single person I know took what he said as a call to violence.
You cannot help what people perceive when they hear things. If they are prone to or want to or have an interest in seeing bad things, then they would see Jesus as evil. Oh wait... they did, and crucified Him for it. However, they did so ignorantly. The people twisting and warping Trumps word know exactly what they are doing and why. If your eye is dark, then what you have inside will be dark.
Be aware, the same people will do the same thing to you. It is evil.

Grassley shared, you will find that the information isn't coming directly from the informant, it's secondhand information provided by the informant. The informant says he can't confirm the accuracy of what he was told.
