Do you think it's awkward to attend a singles ministry?

It's amazing that there's such a need, and most church have no interest in filling that need. What a great ministry opportunity it is.

When I was in my mid 20's, we had a guy who just got his pastoral license and was trying to get it started, just needed some help from our church. He finally gave up after a year. I love how Church's look for ministry oppportunies, but ignore the obvious ones.

My church has seperate groups one for the guys and one for the ladies.

There are more ladies groups than guys ^_^

But I don't get the whole let's seperate the groups into just teh guys and teh the ladies when we are both SINGLE and has a NEED or understand why we are single.

Regards,
Drew

It may feel awkward. But it is not awkward. It's like a room full of people in thunderwear. Everyone is doing it so no one can look dumb. Just go in and be yourself. Leave with a few numbers and see how what happens. Maybe use this oppritunity. Take some chances and look stupid.
