But I cannot find where he says he'll leave if 2nd amendment is not repealed. So I guess the point is moot. He just says he'll deport himself if the gun laws aren't tightened. Its not the same thing. So some of my conservative friends were exaggerating.

I find it unlikely he said such; but it's not impossible for Morgan.
I would think it more likely an increase in death threats or some such is making him want to leave. Especially considering he said stupid things that upset a lot of people who have guns.

But then perhaps I think too little of US gun owners. The threat of armed revolution and war if gun rights are infringed by a vocal minority are perhaps tainting my view...

And no, we really don't want him back.
Which seems, unusually, a view shared by most here; regardless of political views.
