I'd like to open this up to a discussion of the current climate of selective enforcement of the law by Democrats.
We have Chuck Schumer threatening a Supreme Court Justice, saying Kavanaugh will "pay the price" and even after an attempted murder Democrats refuse to enforce the law protecting Kavanaugh, his wife, and children. President Trump asked protesters to proceed patriotically and peacefully, and when he heard there was trouble asked them to go home. Yet incredibly many people who were simply at the Capitol and unknowingly trespassed are being persecuted. Those on the left are allowed and encouraged to break the law because they don't want the abortion jurisdiction to go back to the states. This is not rule of law, it is mob rule, and it is an attack on our country from the hard left. Do you really want laws to be enforced based on your gender, race, or political persuasion? What if the tides turn and you are part of a group that is disfavored by the elite?

I agree with you. I've been saying this. The problem is that the left sees this violence as Democracy in action. They're fighting tyranny and racism and bigotry in their minds. They say Jan. 6th is worse than 9/11, but refuse to even admit their own hateful rhetoric is causing violence and people to be killed.

People are being killed all around the country. The leftist major media has been sensationalizing every act of whites supposedly being racist against blacks. There has been a failure to report racism against Asians, whether it be at universities or the acts of violent racially motivated attacks on Asians so often by blacks.
Look at the lack of coverage of the attack by a black in Waukesha, Wisconsin who had made anti-white posts. What is happening is selective coverage based upon whether a group can be wooed by a political party.

That is not true!

Watching the events of Jan.6th and seeing more video not released til tonight, it was not some wandering folks unaware they were trespassing. They attacked officers, they broke windows, they were threatening the officers and committed theft. They planned on stopping the certification of the election.

Some from Trump's own staff say he was resistent to stopping it though asked my many on his team.

And Jan. 6th was different than 9/11. 9/11 was terrorism committed by non-Americans that caused a great loss of life, and damage, and to 2 wars. Jan. 6th was terrorism by Americans who supported Trump in an attempt to stop the certification of an election in an attempt to steal an election that Trump lost.
Neither is acceptable.

I saw coverage of the attack in Wisconsin. I have seen coverage of attacks on Asians by whites and blacks. It is pathetic.

The U.S. has been hit for most of the last decade by a wave of right-wing violence, much of it committed by white supremacists and aimed at Black and Latino communities. And that wave continues to build.

The pattern resembles a similar violent upsurge in the early 1990s, which culminated in the bombing of the federal office building in Oklahoma City in 1995 by Timothy McVeigh, a right-wing militant who murdered 168 people, including 19 children, in what remains one of the worst terrorist attacks in U.S. history.

White supremacists often exploit current events to support or confirm their pre-existing beliefs.
