Rep. Andre Carson: Tea Party Wants To See Black Americans 'Hanging On A Tree' | FoxNews.com

Rep. Carson stands by tea party racism blast – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Some of these folks in Congress right now would love to see us as second-class citizens," he said. "Some of them in Congress right now with this Tea Party movement would love to see you and me ... hanging on a tree."

Can't dazzle them brilliance baffle them with BS.

Liberals can't argue against cutting spending so they hide behind racism to subvert the arguement.

He claims that tea party wants:
Members of the tea party are holding up a lot of things that the president wants to do and want to gut critical services and programs that they know are important to African Americans as well as Latinos and other minorities."
So we see who the real racist is. Thinking that social programs are meant for minorities, thus cutting them is racist is racist in of itself.

Why can't they argue straight forward?
Tell the tax payers why they can't expect the goverment to live with what the people give them.
The Tea party might make suggestions to cut benefits to those that aren't doing anything to improve the economy, so that the economy can grow. But they are not basing that decision on race.

It is about time we call out racists of our elected leaders, and demand they stop clouding the issues.
The republican party needs to stop acting like a beat dog everytime the opposition hurls the racist accusation up. They need to stand against the abuse of racism, real and fabricated, just to keep from dealing with an issue, and treat them the same.

We need to treat false race baiters as we treat real racists, denounce them and consider throwing them out.

Tea party arguement- is and always has been; goverment spends no more then what it takes in.

Liberal arguement and always is: the group is racist.

Liberals aren't the ones hiding.. most of the tea party members have had a low opinion of minorities and immigrants for a long time as well as being islamaphobic; Janeane Garofalo was spot on, it's racism straight up. It is truly disgraceful how the mainstream media refuses to call it as it is.. this group should not be given any legitimacy whatsoever.

Ok, look.

I had thought about Mordechai Mont's thread earlier about the Arizona black Republican who was ran out of his office, and I think I might have figured out something.

I still don't think the tea party, as a whole, is racist. There are plenty of evidence around them being classist, but not racist. Think about it this way, there's Cain, there's Rubio. Under a racist Tea Party they shouldn't even have a prayer. Why did Tea Party members in Florida oust Charlie Crist for a minority Rubio? Were they racist, they shouldn't have cared one way or another his beliefs, right?

A lot of the issues that many tea partiers have had with people I've seen have never even involved race. It's just involved people who just don't agree with them, and it just so happens that you're not going to find too many minorities who are hard-right wingers maybe due to family party ties or never really being interested in a more libertarian-ish or conservative-ish viewpoint, so naturally, there wouldn't be too many people in the Tea Party in general who are minorities.

It's all about race. If a Bill Clinton clone was president you wouldn't be seeing any of this.. conservatives love to hide behind the one or two african american's the can get to go along with them but it does not change what they are. There is a reason about 90% of blacks vote democrat and likely an even greater percentage and are opposed to this tea party garbage.

Uh... no.

90% of blacks vote Democrat because their family most likely did. Also, statistically they are of lower incomes than the average (it's statistical) and people with lower incomes tend to vote Democrat. Asians and Hispanics also have lower than average incomes overall and vote Democrat usually.

Regardless, I don't see why anyone who isn't a rabid Religious Right spend-til-you-drop kind of christian in the 2000's would be a Tea Partier now. Even the Libertarians who started the whole thing. It's a shell of what it once was.

The republican party needs to stop acting like a beat dog everytime the opposition hurls the racist accusation up.

When the opposition hurls racist accusations..like these: (?)

TEA PARTY leader refuses to resign after getting caught circulating e-mails depicting Obama's parents as chimpanzees

TEA PARTY activist apologizes after google bombing Michelle Obama and referring to her a 'gorilla'

TEA PARTY district leader resigns after attending anti-Obama rally with a picket sign with the N word

TEA PARTY members send racism laced death threats to Arizona's sole black republican district chairman, forcing him to resign out of fear for his life, after the Giffords shooting

These don't look like accusations to me, these look like solid examples of racism. Moreover, even Tea-Party leaders and candidates have engaged in questionably racist behavior:

TEA PARTY 2010 candidate Paladino received heavy criticism after getting caught circulating RACIST e-mails

TEA PARTY Presidential Candidate Ron Paul refuses to return donations by Don Black (self professed Neo-Nazi & creator of Stormfront, a white supremacist forum).

Think that's bad? Ron Paul even takes the time for a photo OP with Don Black and his racist son:

RonPaulDonBlackDerekBlack.jpg

So yeah, the constant connecting of dots between the tea party and racism isn't just magically happening from nothing. There is a repeated behavior of racism that keeps coming out, and until the tea party OR the GOP address it, and stop trying to sweep it underneath the rub, it's not going anywhere.

Great Post : )

The left is up to its same old tricks . Trying to attack anyone who is decent and wants a small , honest government . I can already see their entire strategy for the 2012 election ... " Rick Perry is a dumb hick who will be just like George Bush " . And Obama blaming Bush , and the Republican party for all the countries problems. Meanwhile, in reality , he makes George Bush look like George Washington .

I just hope all the people duped by obama and the media in the last election will see through the same exact tactics the lefty media uses. All they do is attack people , they never talk about policies .

Its not about race at all . Not one bit , Its about small government , low taxes. A gov't that doesn't spend money foolishly.

The " race card" is a lame attempt to guilt people into voting for a crook, and a liar again . Not because he is black ( obama ) but because he sucks out loud as a leader

Liberal arguement and always is: the group is racist.

And conservatives hide behind your argument right there.

The whole racism thing is stupid. Because liberals will say stupid things are racist. And then rather than ignore it like grown-ups and move on, conservatives go "YOU'RE IGNORING THE POINT!" and then concentrate on the racism claim. Conservatives use it just as much as liberals.

If anyone is confused or doubtful about racism coming from the tea party, review post #7 in this thread.
Wow! It appears that you could not limit the lies and propaganda to just one OP.
#1 You do not know the TEA Party.
#2 You do not understand what is “racist” at all.
#3 You have plagued at least two threads with lies about the who are any leaders in the TEA Party or even understand why you are making wrong conclusions.
#4 You are here to promote strife and confusion amongst the Goyim.

Wow! It appears that you could not limit the lies and propaganda to just one OP.

Funny, you keep calling them lies, yet when you are asked to actually prove it, you can offer only silence.

#1 You do not know the TEA Party.

You do not know the TEA party.

#2 You do not understand what is “racist” at all.

I understand that when TEA party members get caught holding anti-Obama picket signs with the N word, that's racist.

I understand that when TEA party activists and leaders get caught circulating emails depicting Obama's parents as chimpanzees, or get called calling Michelle Obama a "gorilla", that's racist.

I understand that when TEA party darling Ron Paul not only refuses to return campaign contributions from white supremacists like Don Black (who created Stormfront), but also takes the time to pose for Photo-Ops with the notorious Neo-Nazi, that raises real judgement, and serious concerns arise to what Paul actually believes.

#3 You have plagued at least two threads with lies about the who are any leaders in the TEA Party or even understand why you are making wrong conclusions.

And once again, you continue to regurgitate this false claim that my examples of tea-party racism are lies. When you are asked over and over again to prove it, and you can only offer utter silence, it becomes more and more clear that it is actually you who are plaguing these threads with lies.

#4 You are here to promote strife and confusion amongst the Goyim.

Incorrect.

Are you are here to valiantly defend the actions and rhetoric of racist tea party members?
