People have tried to censor what others say since the beginning of human government.

Also, how is this a good idea? You ladies fancy having your constitutional liberties infringed upon?
only if it's "for the children" which is the battle cry for lots of unconstitutional things... ugh. if it happens where you're going, go somewhere else. that's the power you have as a private citizen.

I swore off swearing years ago for the sake of my children (and religious convictions.)

It's funny. Now, when I watch movies it grates on my nerves to hear the filth that comes from people's mouths. I'm not a prude or anything but I can only handle so much... An mild explitive here or there is one thing... but throwing out 100 F-words in a movie is just ignorant. There are films I will no longer watch nor pay to see if reviews say vulgarity is the rule.

It's not a question of cencorship but one of good manners and decency.
