For one thing, regular herpes on the mouth CAN be passed on as genital herpes.

With reduction of such horrible illnesses available for a quick snip of unhygienic skin at birth, its surprising to me that any would oppose routine circumcision. But to each their own, I suppose.

New Testament means New Covenant. The Old Covenant is fulfilled in Christ. I don't have an issue with circumcision, and believe it is probably beneficial, but preaching that circumcision is a requirement for believers is a damnable heresy, condemned by scripture in the strongest terms.

Different thing altogether. He isn't talking about the
act of cutting, but circumcision as the main part of
conversion to Judaism. The Judaizers insisted that
the new believers must convert and be taught by Rabbis.
