Looking for a few good books on faith, reconciling faith with science, Catholicism, etc. I've recently read Seven Storey Mountain and have a copy of Credo by Kung buy haven't read it yet
I actually like all and any book suggestions, share away!I have a couple of book suggestions but these books are not religious or about science.
what did you think of it?I've recently read Seven Storey Mountain
Cool, I've read Bury my Heart, but it's been a while, might be time to reread it. I'll look into the other authors too.Okay. One of my favorite books to recommend is Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee, by Dee Brown. I will say this about his book, it is a real eye opener and it will break your heart. I would also recommend reading books written by Vine Deloria, Jr. But one of my favorite authors is Craig Johnson. He writes the Longmire book series.
Hmm, I've never read Chesterson, I'll have to do so. I started Mere Christianity many years ago but didn't finish it for some reason. It's still on my shelf, I'll have to start again.G K Chesterton Orthodoxy, - reading it now, it is a classic and I can understand why.
Other G K Chesterton, if you can stand his British humour, which I quite like.
Mere Christianity by C S Lewis is supposed to be another classic (which I haven't read).
some others, I'll get back to you on

sounds interesting.More specifically, Fr. Ron has a section on four non-negotiable aspects of the Christian life one of those being a mellowness of heart. I've been meditating a lot on that lately.
