What a joke this all is. I wonder if the hospitals next move will be to paint the rooms in rainbow colours so people with different skin colour can't be offended.

I think theres a racist undertone in this condescending attitude the multicultural elite have towards ethnic minorities. They assume ethnic minorities are so intolerant and incapable of understanding they will be offended by the slightest difference in our cultures.

The Bible brings peace, comfort and hope to many people in hospital and should be readily available for anyone who might want it.

The version of Islam practiced by most moderate Muslims is no more incompatible with mainstream Australian values than Christianity is. I get a little tired of people portraying my friends as something they are not.

It's because of those poor people who are actually allergic to the Christian Bible. They fall into a deep psychosis, drop to the floor and start frothing at the mouth.

It's a condition called Biblicalis Anaphylaxis.

Hospital and school authorities, made up of white middle-class liberal humanists, are worried that if people of other faiths catch glimpse of a Bible they will suffer severe retina damage... rendering them blind!

The hospitals were sick of treating them... Bible allergies are not covered under our Medicare system.

I dunno - i may not be a christian but i beleive people have to right to be - and the right to preach/show their ideas etc.

If somebody is offended by a nearby bible - they dont have to read it. Or is it the thought of the bible being nearby that causes the allergy..could it be more.. pyschological?

Its not multi culturism that bothers me - its this political correctness that bothers me. Our countries have always been quite diverse to a point, and they havent been that offended. To be honest only a few in each minority have been offended in a minor way and said so - but then it all got blown out of proportion and the white middle class bosses and politicians have taken it waaay too far!

So how do the precious PC brigade reconcile this? On the one hand, their shrieks of indignation regarding any opponents to multiculturalism are deafening, although most of us didn't vote for an international influx of diverse and conflicting cultures....I hear nothing supporting multiracialism, which, IMO, is a far more honest approach. Most of us here have no objection to people of other races settling here. What we do object to though is the indiscriminate importation of opposing CULTURES, some of which are the polar opposite to the social norm in this country. Islam is diametrically opposed to our way of life, and indeed, to Christianity. It is anti-semetic, anti Isreal, and anti - woman. I don't get it that the usually vehement 'sisters' of the feminist persuasion are not more vocal on this issue. Nor do I get it that the usually strident 'minority' brigade are so silent when it comes to the vilification of Jews. Or that they are are unusually silent when that idiot, (the President of Iran) threatens to destroy Isreal, and push them all into the sea. If a Western nation had said the same thing regarding a Moslem nation, I'm sure I'd still be hearing the shrill shrieks of protest, even now. What complete and utter hypocricy!!!
