Seems funny to me that this subject is brought up to dispell another. But anyways.

Yep. refers to first post. Thread starter refers to yecs, so I refer to oees. And to pose a question.

Here's a link on many different types of radio isotopes and there half lifes. Notice that none of these half lifes are in the millions of years that science says it took for rocks to form.

ikester7579: You admit you're changing the subject. You are doing this because you are unable to fit unconformities into flood geology. You will not admit this, but you have no answer to the evidence written by the hand of God into the very stones.

KJV Psalm 19:1 {To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

You are not on the side of the angels, ikester7579, and I don't think they want you on their side. You are not honest.  You are perverse, and sow dissension, hoping in vain to obscure your ignorance and intellectual sloth.

I suggest, if you really want an answer to your question (which we all not you do not) you could do a search on radioactive decay series, half-life and isotopes.  You could find out about the various ways granite can form. But we all know you won't, because you are not really interested in the truth.

And how long did it take for granite rocks to appear? If you bust one open, you will find a radio isotope rings inside. Since an radio isotope half life is less than 5 seconds, how could these rings get caught in every granite rock? Seems like a sudden formation happened. Funny how old earth evolutionist don't address this.

Do you mean radiohalos? As in AiG's argument here?

http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/magazines/docs/v23n4_radiohalo.asp

First off it is funny that AiG would say that radiometric dating is not accurate then try to use it when they think it supports them(it does not)... A little two-faced don't you think?

Here are a few other ideas on it...

It seems like this is not such a clear cut case...

Your list is not a complete list of isotopes. It is a list of isotopes used in Radiography because of their properties that suit this use well.

Here is something that is tough for YEC's to explain related to isotopes

Funny how young-earth creationists on these discussion forums never actually bother to check to see if their favorite argument has been addressed.  The Po holos arguments have been long discredited.  See this detailed examination and the T.O. page on the subject.

And funny how YECs like to change the subject when unconformities come up.

As someone ask me once: This is quite old, do you have anything newer?

The Hutton Unconformity looks the same two hundred years later and the implications for YECism are still the same.   And it is far from the only example I gave.

Unconformities disprove YECism.

Funny how when people get to the point where things are not going their way, they resort to personal attacks. These attacks used to make me mad. Now they make me laugh. Besides, being on the angels side does not get you into heaven. Being on God's and his son (Jesus) does.

No, what's funny is that you can't stick to the topic and decide instead to bring up an unrelated argument that you think supports your case when it, in fact, does not as the "Polonium halo" argument has already been addressed.

The topic was about angular unconformities (and unconformities in general). Your avoidance of the topic indicates just how fatal these features are to YECism.

There are several threads circulating recently that refute YECism. Why have they not been addressed by YECs?
