And this is precisely why the doctrine of the trinity is so misleading, because it takes away from the coming exaltation of the saints who will rule together with Jesus Christ. The house of God is not just a house of three, it is a family. It starts with God's first born son, Jesus Christ, then goes down to the other engendered sons of God who are birthed by the Spirit. The divinity of God is imparted by his holy spirit, even to these as well. How do you think it is said,
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. (1 John 3:9)
and also,
Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6)
the saints will rule with Jesus Christ, which by very nature means the exaltation of the saints as well. As Jesus even said,
For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (Matthew 23:12)
Why do you think Jesus Christ also says,
So the last will be first, and the first will be last. (Matthew 20:16)
The saints will be RAISED FROM THE DEAD, and given NEW IMMORTAL BODIES, AND WILL BE EXALTED IN THE TIME TO COME AT THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST. Hence why we also have this scripture,
For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. (1 Corinthians 15:53)
