I May Have Cholesteatoma - Prayer Request

I've had ongoing symptoms of cholesteatoma for about a year now, but have not been officially diagnosed. I will be seeing a doctor for it soon. If I test positive, I would need surgery to remove the cyst. But one danger is the loss of hearing, due to the complicated nature of the surgical procedure.

Please pray for me if you can. It will be the third item on my body that needs surgery and that I cannot afford at the moment.

I feel physically beaten and worn down and emotionally drained from so much that's gone on recently.

It's all I can muster up to write at the moment, but I genuinely appreciate the wonderful community here. I know this is a special place and have been consistently grateful for the loving people and uplifting prayers of everyone.

I will be seeing a doctor today (or Monday at the latest - he has a walk-in office) for my ear cyst problem. I am 99% sure it will come back positive for cholesteatoma, as I have every symptom, including the "weird" or unique ones as well.

My continuing prayer request would simply be that God protect my hearing (I'm worried I would losing my left ear's hearing) and allow me to have successful surgery to remove the mass in my ear. I will update soon after my doctor's appointment. Thanks to all here!!!

UPDATE:

Went to see my primary care physician and was "undiagnosed" at that time, as she wanted to rule out other possibilities. Having been treated for those other possibilities without success, I will now be seeing an ENT this coming Tuesday, who can properly diagnose me.

Please pray that:

a.) I get an accurate diagnosis
b.) I do not lose my hearing
c.) I am ultimately treated successfully for whatever condition I have
