Hi all, I was intrigued by a thread here on denominations, and got sucked into the discussion. There's so much in the Christian Forums that it's difficult to stop and leave to live my life, so I doubt I'll spend much time here, but maybe when I retire I'll have a bit more time. Retirement is, in theory, only a year away. Meantime, keep discussing and I might chip in from time to time!
My background is vari-denominational, having joined evangelical churches wherever I've lived - so as a child, Congregationalist, Baptist and Methodist, and after my conversion, only ever independent churches. My home church now is an evangelical church in Cumbria which used to be Christian Brethren but became autonomous many years ago.
