Please pray for me. I am angry at God for giving me autism.

If I did not have autism my life would be different. I would be employed graduate from College, living on my own, slim, married to a beautiful woman with kids. But no he cursed me.

Instead I am, obese, have never been in a relationship, have Phobias, unemployed and still living at home.

Yes I try to socialize but it always ends in nothing meaning the conversation ends before it begins. I try new things but it's the same outcome again don't socializing. Then I have to hear about every normal person in Church who is blessed while I have none of that.

My biggest fear in life is dying alone.

Yes, but what if the thing that you think is your biggest sorrow works to your greatest good? I have found so many of my weaknesses to be my greatest assets, our greatest sorrows can truly be turned into our greatest strengths. That tape of doom and despair and discouragement that runs continuously in your head, can be broken through and broken open by God, to be set free in His glorious light. He loves you Tony. He loves you very much. I have found nothing has changed, but everything changes when it is brought into that light. I will pray He sets you free. I pray you will rise tomorrow and see everything anew.

I try to talk to people but I am still terrible with small talk. I don't know how they make it so easy. I am just tired of conversations only lasting about a minute while others can talk much much longer.

Well I don't think the gift of gab has anything to do with making us righteous. In fact we should probably all talk less and listen more. The Lord spoke some of the most impactful things in all the world in often just short sentences. When Moses asked who should I tell them sent me. Think of all the things God could have said about Himself. instead He said only I am who I am, tell them I am sent you.

:) You make me smile J Mick. I feel over the years the Lord has had to cut through so much of me as well, and just get to the heart of what He is really saying. Jesus spoke only what the Father gave Him. That was one of His most profound attributes to me. To speak the words the Spirit gives you and rest, without wanting to trip over ourselves and have to explain everything.

I wonder if it would help you to get on some websites, and some YouTube channels like Bright Side where social skills are being taught.

You could practice these in the mirror, with an iPhone, if you have one, on a tape recorder, and so on. And you could take the role of yourself and another back-and-forth.

With a recorder or video, you can critique what you have done.

You could practice with people who don’t matter that much like standing in line in a grocery store or at a bus stop or wherever.

I wonder if it would help you to find some forums for other people with autism so that you can socialize and share and learn.

You seem pretty high functioning, which is great. I have worked with so many autistic children in the past, and they would’ve been thrilled to be able to communicate, as well as you do, even in writing, which is difficult.

I’m sorry for what you have suffered. The world is so often cold and cruel and uncaring.

I will pray for you to make some friends, get married, if that is the Lord‘s will, and to be at peace.

I also pray for you to lose weight. This society is prejudiced against overweight people, and, of course obesity is a major health concern.

Please do not rail against the Lord. This caused major problems in the Bible, for example, those who complained against the Lord in the desert died in the desert.

We live in a world where the Bible says the prince of it is the devil. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy. everyone is having problems and heartaches. He’s a busy boy!

But the heavenly father is there for you to help you. Prayer by prayer. I pray you will learn how very true that is, and will have holy Angels guiding you all the way.

I will absolutely pray for you

I want to say though, that your not alone in having mountains before you in life. But what does Jesus say - with the faith of a mustard seed you can say to the mountain to move and it will.

It probably won't look like no more autism or something, but it might look like a life that's a little more social for you and therefore, fulfilling.

I'm physically disabled. I live in constant and extreme pain that has no relief. Even bathing is a challenge for me.

Have I been "angry at God", you bet!

But with the faith of a mustard seed, I have a happy and personally fulfilling life now - despite the pain and disability.

Our challenges in life help us to learn and grow - and when we allow God to mold us and shape us as a potter with clay, those challenges make us into SUCH better people than we would have been if we had never experienced them.

God can turn anything into something great! I will pray for you - because I am absolutely sure He's doing a mighty work in you!

I have a friend from church who wants to practice social skills with me in the new year. The only problem is that he has a new kid which makes time difficult.

I also chat with one woman my age from Church by text. She came up to me. I could have never come up to her to talk, I would have been too afraid.

Hi Tony, it's Ok to be angry at God. He knows everything and He knows how you feel. While you are dealing with your frustrations due to you situation, He is the Master Builder, building you up in Christ Jesus. He does the work. Sometimes, we go through our trials, but He always get us to the other side by His grace. Your frustration moved you to ask for prayer. Keep asking for prayer and keep prayering yourself. Ask God to replace your frustration with His Trust and His Faith. Ask Him to guide your relationships. He wants to get you to the point of knowing that you no longer walk in the Old Man, but that you walk in the New Man in Christ Jesus, blessed with His seed, the Holy Spirit, making you a Child of the Most High. You are blessed with our father Abraham to received the blessings promised to him. Ask God to take away your frustration, and allow you to experience a renewed mind and revelation of His Love and His Mercy.

There are people who need you! Be strong in the Power of His Might, and He will lift you up.

May God bless you, and I pray that He bring you peace and joy in your life!

I saw that woman at Church today. Even though I talked to her and know her well I still run out of things to say and the conversation is short unlike when others talk to her and go on for over 10 minutes. It's frustrating I can't do small talk again this silent moments kill it for me.

My husband is bad at small talk too. Many people have a difficult time filling in blank spots of conversation.

She probably knows it's difficult for you and is fine with the silence too. I wouldn't worry about that.

God Bless you Tony. We all need fellowship, it's been instituted by God! (Mt. 18:20, Hb. 10:25), but no Christian will ever die alone when they are with Christ.

I pray you will develop your relationship with Jesus, who will guide you by His Spirit to enable you to make the changes in your life that will bring you into more meaningful fellowship. I pray also that in times of solitude you will find comfort, peace and the presence of our Lord within that.
I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Thank you.
My son has autism, too. It's so hard as a mother to watch him struggle. I struggle with social interaction myself. May God bless you and bring many good people into your life.
