This makes absolutely no sense. There is nothing in scripture called "The Law of Christ"; it's just stuff you're making up. It's false doctrine, and it doesn't help your cause by quoting Old Testament (pre-Christ) prophets to bolster your doctrine. When Jesus spoke to the young man he left out "You shall have no others gods before me", "You shall not make for yourself a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is on the earth beneath or that is in the water below...", "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain...", "Remember the Sabbath day to set it apart as holy...", and "Honor your father and your mother". I guess the "Law of Christ" deems these irrelevant, right?

I do not invent anything. The scriptures tell us that Paul was under the Law of Christ:

"...not being without law to God, but under law to Christ..." (1 Corinthians 9:19-21)

The Law of Christ is the true Law of God. And the Old Testament commandments that commanded death sentences and allowed men to have other men as slaves were not the true Law of God, but precepts of men.

No. It is not so as you say, because Jesus Christ reminded the rich young man the commandment: "Honor thy father and mother".

Jesus overruled the Old Testament commandments that were not merciful.. But He confirmed the commandments which He himself taught us when He preached the Gospel:

"And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why askest thou me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I observed: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one that had great possessions" (Matthew 19: 16-22)

Which is the Law of God?

The Old Testament? The New Testament? Or the Gospel?...

The Law of God taught byJesus Christ

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets" (Matthew 7:12)

What God wants is the mercy

"If you had known what this means, I want mercy and not sacrifice, you wouldn’t have condemned the innocent" (Matthew 12:7)

Jesus speaks to the pharisees about the Law

When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had left the Sadducees speechless, they met together. One of them, a legal expert, tested him. Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law? He replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You must love your neighbor as you love yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands” (Matthew 22:34-40)

Jesus teaches to a rich man, the precepts of the Law

But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one that had great possessions" (Matthew 19:16-22)

These are the commandments of the Gospel, which are very different to the commandments of the Old Testament, for all the commandments of the Gospel are merciful, but many Old Testament commandments commands death sentences, wars and slavery.

So what is the law that the Christians must follow?

And what is the Law of Jesus? It is the same as the Law of God. Evidence of the fact is in Luke 16:29-31 when Jesus himself warned us all to listen to "Moses" aka the Law.

"And the second is like unto the first, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.'" The second commandment is of such a greatness that it became known as The Golden Rule. "To love thy neighbor as thyself." Now, tell me, do you think Jesus would have liked to be addressed as a hypocrite and brood of vipers? I don't think so. In that case, he broke the second greatest commandment. for not being able to love his neighbor as himself. That's exactly how he treated his neighbors aka the Pharisees if you read Mat. 23:13-33. I mean, if you believe the gospel attributed to Matthew.

The ten commandments that are in the OT and in the NT. Yeshua said "If ye love me, keep my commandments." They're not followed to earn salvation but as the result of being believers.

And Jesus' commandments were the same as the commandments of Moses as he would teach his listeners to listen to "Moses" aka the Law if you read Luke 16:29-31.

If indeed the law of Jesus was the same as the Law of God, Jesus taught us all to listen to "Moses" aka the Law if you read Luke 16:29-31. If Jesus commanded to listen to "Moses" aka the Law, it is only obvious that the Decalogue was the Law of Jesus. Do you agree with all the commandments in the Decalogue?

But you forget that Jesus said:

"If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments".

By keeping the commandments which Jesus commanded to keep, you show that you are a believer.

On the other hand, the ten commandments of the Old Testament are different from those that Jesus Christ taught, because the Ten Commandments or the Old Testament allow men to have slaves, and Jesus did not teach those commandments that allow men to have slaves.

Jesus does not like slavery, that is, that men make that other men to serve them, and Jesus commanded to follow his example, "as he came not to be served":

"Jesus called them together and said," You know that the rulers of the nations tyrannize and their great ones are tyrants over power. Among you there must not be so, but if any of you wants to be great, be your servant, and whoever wants to be first, be servant of all, in the same manner as the son of man is not come to be served but to serve and give his life a ransom for many"
(Matthew 20:25-28)

How in the world is slavery in what I posted?

Wondering how are the 10 commandments different than what Yeshua taught?

God used the sacrifices that were being done.........
God did not use the sacrifices, because God did not want sacrifices, nor did He command sacrifices:

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat the flesh. For in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak to your fathers or command them concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices". (Jeremiah 7:21-22).

"To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?" (Isaiah 1: 11-12).

"Sacrifice and offering thou hast no delight in; Mine ears hast thou opened: Burnt-offering and sin-offering hast thou not required" (Psalm 40:6).

Hosea tells us: "for faithful love is what pleases me, not sacrifice; knowledge of God, not burnt offerings" (Hosea 6: 6).

Jesus also tells us: "And if you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless"(Matthew 12: 7).

And the letter to the Hebrews also says:

"Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, "Sacrifices and offerings thou hast not desired, but a body hast thou prepared for me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings thou hast taken no pleasure. Then I said, 'Lo, I have come to do thy will, O God,' as it is written of me in the roll of the book." When he said above, "Thou hast neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to the law)" (Hebrews 10: 5-10).

You see what a contradiction is found here between these earlier texts and laws on the sacrifices of the Old Testament, for there are whole chapters dedicated to sacrifices and burnt offerings, saying that God had commanded, however, the prophets tell us that God did not command sacrifices..., Jesus tells us that God does not want sacrifices... and the letter to the Hebrews says: "Thou hast neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to the law)".

The Ten Commandments of the Old Testament are not equal to the commandments that teach us the gospel, there are big differences. I'll give an example: The Old Testament tells us:

"Keep the Sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. Six days thou shalt labor, and shalt do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: thou shalt not do any work therein, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maid, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, neither any of thy cattle, nor the stranger that is within thy gates: that thy manservant and thy maid may rest as well as thou". (Deut. 5: 12-15).

On the contrary, the Gospel tells us:

"Jesus said unto him, Rise: take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and the same day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said to him that was made whole, It is the Sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole he said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk" (John 5: 8-11)

"And therefore the Jews did persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him: not only because he had broken the Sabbath: but said also that God was his Father, and made himself equal with God"(John 5: 16-18)

Jesus did not respected and not fulfilled those laws about the Sabbath written in the Ten Commandments the Old Testament, and it is because Jesus Christ was God and those Old Testament laws were not God's law.

COMMANDED GOD THAT MEN WERE SLAVES OF OTHER MEN?

The 10 Commandments of the Old Testament's laws, about slaves, also say:

"Thou shalt not desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field or his manslave or his maidslave, his ox or his ass or any thing that is thy neighbour's" (Deutoro. 5: 21).

This commandment is contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Gospel. Jesus Christ said to a man who had great wealth:

"Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go, sell that thou hast, and give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come, and follow me" (Matthew 19: 16-22)

According to the Old Testament commandment, I should not desire anything from my neighbor although I do not have anything, and my neighbor can wish all things what have their neighbors, and even their lives, taking them as slaves ... This commandment is a contradiction in itself and completely contradicts what Jesus says in the Gospel: "You will love your neighbor as yourself".

Is not equal say to those living in poverty they not should desire anything from those with great wealth than tell those who have great wealth sell all what they have and give all what they have to the poor. And this is the great difference between the commandments of the Old Testament and the commandments of the Gospel.

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him: not only because he had broken the Sabbath: but said also that God was his Father, and made himself equal with God"(John 5: 16-18)

The Bible tells us that Jesus was born under the Law (Galatians 4:4) and according to the Law, it is sinful to add to or subtract from what God had commanded them (Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 10:13), so if Jesus had done as you suggest, then you should consider him to have sinned and to not be your Savior. Furthermore, according to Deuteronomy 13:4-5, the way that God instructed His people to tell that someone was a false prophet who was not speaking for Him was if they taught them against following what God had commanded them, even if they performed signs and wonders, so if Jesus had taught against keeping the Sabbath as you suggested, then you should consider even rising from the dead to be sufficient to consider him anything other than a false prophet. However, Jesus was sinless, so he kept the Mosaic Law perfect, including the Sabbath.

The issue was that there was a large body of Jewish oral laws, traditions, rulings, and fences that they taught for how to obey God's Law, so while Jesus certainly violated these laws, he did not violate his Law. In Matthew 15:2-3, Jesus was asked by his disciples broke the traditions of the elders and he responded by asking them why they broke the command of God for the sake of their tradition. He also said that for the sake of their tradition they made void the Word of God (Matthew 15:6), that they worshiped God in vain because they taught as doctrine the commands of men (Matthew 15:8-9), and that they were hypocrites for setting aside the commands of God in order to establish their own traditions (Mark 7:6-9), so a major source of conflict between Jesus and the Pharisees was over their traditions instead of God' Law. God's Law was never intended to prohibit the man from carrying his mat on the Sabbath, while it was man's law in place of God's Law that forbade that. However, the Pharisees nevertheless thought he was violating the Sabbath, so they wanted to kill him. In Matthew 12:12, we see a similar example of this, where the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus because they thought it was unlawful to heal on the Sabbath, but Jesus said it was lawful to do so.

Jesus did not respected and not fulfilled those laws about the Sabbath written in the Ten Commandments the Old Testament, and it is because Jesus Christ was God and those Old Testament laws were not God's law.

How can you say that the OT Laws were not God's Law when they were given by Him?

The OT instructs us to care for the poor and to love our neighbor as ourselves, so I don't see how this is any different.

When he said above, "Thou hast neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to the law)" (Hebrews 10: 5-10).

Clearly God would not have commanded His people to make offerings if that was not something He wanted done, so the point being made is not that God didn't want His people to make offerings, but that the offerings themselves were not the object of what God desired, but were the means to what He what desired. The book of Exodus ended with God's glory descending on the tent of meeting and the problem of noone being able to approach and the book of Leviticus begins with God calling out instructions for how to draw near to Him. The root word for "offering" means "to draw near", so sin separates us from God and Leviticus is God's instructions for how to draw near and become reconciled to Him, not how to deprive ourselves of livestock. So the mistake is to think that what God wanted was the offering when the offering is just the means for God's people to drawn near to Him. If someone were to make an offering without repenting, drawing near to Him, and growing in a relationship with him by faith, then they were completely missing the whole point, and all they were accomplishing was just slaughtering an animal.

In regard to Jeremiah 7:21-26, while it is true that God did not command them to make offerings on the day that He brought them out of Egypt, He did give them those commands later after the incident with the golden calf. In Exodus 19:5 and Jeremiah 21:23-24, God wanted them to hear His voice and obey His commands, but they did not listen to God's voice, but walked in their own counsels. In Exodus 20:19 and Deuteronomy 5:22-27, they turned down hearing God's voice, wanted God to talk to Moses, and to obey him instead as a mediator, which did not turn out so well for them. While Moses was a great man, he was not God, and while God agreed to this, this would be akin to a bride on her wedding day getting cold feet and deciding that she only wanted to interact with her husband through a mediator. If they had been listening to God's voice, then the incident with the golden calf would never have happened. One thing that everyone mentioned in Hebrews 11 had in common was that they all listened to God's voice and obeyed by faith, so this is the kind of relationship that God wants with His people (Jeremiah 31:34). So again, the confusion with offerings is to think of them as something that God wanted in themselves rather than as the means to what He wanted, of drawing close to God, of repentance, and of obedience by faith.

Isaiah 1:12-20 Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom! Give ear to the teaching of our God, you people of Gomorrah! 11 “What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says the Lord; I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of well-fed beasts; I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of goats. 12 “When you come to appear before me, who has required of you this trampling of my courts? 13 Bring no more vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath and the calling of convocations— I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly. 14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates; they have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. 15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood. 16 Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, 17 learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. 18 “Come now, let us reason[c] together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; 20 but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Likewise, God would not have commanded His people concerning the Sabbath, the New Moon, and appointed Feasts if he was commanding them to do something that He hated and that were a burden to him.

Matthew 23:23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.

The issue is that the Pharisees were outwardly doing what God had commanded them, and Jesus said that they ought to do those things, but the issue was the same in that they were neglecting the weightier matters of the Law of justice, mercy, and faith. I think Jesus could have easily said that they were making offerings, keeping the Sabbath, the New Moon, and appointed Feasts, but that they were neglecting the weightier matters of the Law, these they should have done, but without neglecting the others. God's commands are intended to teach us the weightier matters of how to draw into a close relationship with Him and to reflect His attributes to the world.

(Matthew 20:25-28)

Matthew 19:16-22 And behold, a man came up to him, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” 17 And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, 19 Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 20 The young man said to him, “All these I have kept. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

They asked Jesus about which commands he was talking about and he started listing examples from the Ten Commandments, so there is no room whatsoever to say he was talking about following his own set of commands, which were distinct from the Ten Commandments. Jesus was not in disagreement with the Father about what commands we should follow, but rather he said that his teaching was not his own, but that of the Father (John 7:16) and that whoever does not love him does not keep his commands, which were not his own, but that of the Father (John 14:24).

Paul said he was not without God's Law in a parallel statement to saying that he was under the Law of Christ, so there isn't any room to use that to say that he is without God's Law. Jesus affirmed the Law and the Prophets, so there isn't any room to say that they are the precepts of men (Matthew 23:23). If someone couldn't pay their debts in the ANE, then they could either beg, starve, or sell their future labor, and if they were able bodied, then begging wasn't an option, so slavery was an economic necessity that allowed people not to starve to death that the OT regulated.

Jesus said that mercy was one of the weightier matters of the Law, so how can mercy overrule the Law?

Who are these people? and which law is Paul referring to?

2 Corinthians 9:20 ...to those who are under the law, as under the law,that I might win those who are under the law;

And who are these people, and what law are they without?

2 Corinthians 9:21 to those who are without law, as without law
