Your response is a substance free and unsupported opinion? Well, if that's all you have...

That's all you have ever had. Care to show us some of that substance that has failed so miserably in the past?

Like I always say, evolution is nonsense...a delusion with no basis at all, and a joke you are playing on yourselves.

Give an explanation for over 200,000 endogenous retroviral insertions being in EXACTLY identical locations in the genomes of chimpanzees and humans.

Give an explanation for the fusing of two chromosomes to produce chromosome 2 in humans.

You give the explanation. Maybe we can at least get into some impressive nonsense.

They are extremely strong pieces of evidence to support common ancestry. They act as support for the paleontogical, morphological, geographical evidence that we also have. But the genetic evidence is the strongest of all. ERV locations, by themselves, provide almost certainty for the proposition that shared ancestry is a real phenomenon.

Now, provide a realistic alternative explanation......

Give a complete/detailed explanation. You haven't done a thing thus far.

When retroviruses invade an organism, they locate themselves into the genome randomly. We know this because we can study them in real time, as in the case of HIV infection.

The human genome has approximately 3 billion possible location sites.

Over 200,000 ancient ERV insertions are present in the human genome.

These same retroviruses are in EXACTLY the same locations in the genomes of chimpanzees.

The probability of all of these being in identical locations in BOTH species as random chance is of the order of approximately 10 to the power of 13.......vanishingly small.

The most potent explanation for this evidence is that these insertions took place at a time before a 'split' occurred which resulted in separate lineages for humans and chimpanzees. It also fits perfectly with all of the other lines of evidence that I mentioned above.

Your alternative....?

I really like natural science. I really love learning about space and time and I love hearing about the fossils and skeletons of dinosaurs and pre-historic man. I dont fear stuff about evolution. I think science and religion can discover together - it already is. Religion fills me when i feel bad and science make sure my internet works

Watched it again.

She seems miffed that Christians are challenging Darwin's theory; and since Christians don't come to a consensus of opinion about their own beliefs, they aren't qualified to tell Darwin he's wrong.

If so, she can take a hike.

It looks like she wants legislation or something to make it illegal to challenge evolution on non-scientific terms.
Are you sure you watched the video actually posted here? She was giving expert testimony as a historian of the subject, to the effect that it would not be reasonable to modify a curriculum on Darwinian evolution on the grounds that the fossil evidence was questionable, because Darwin did not use fossils as the main evidence base for his theory.

At around 01:44, she says the words, "evolution had occurred," not "evolution has been observed."

If she wants us to cater to evolution because others say it has occurred, when in fact it has never been observed, then she has another thing coming.

It is not like evolution have came to a halt, you know. It occurred and still occurs.

1. For the same reason Fords and Dodges have Michelin tires.
2. For the same reason Fords and Dodges have broken tail lights.
3. For the same reason Fords and Dodges have dents and scratches in the same place.

Are you saying cars are laying eggs that hatches into to small little baby cars?

IF NOT, what does man made things has to do with living things?

I said it before and will hammer it in again; the reason those things exists is because of enheritance - which is an observed fact.

Correct, it is indeed illegal in USA to challenge science in science classes with pseudoscience (such as ID aka creationism vs biology).

Darwin did not use fossils as the main evidence base for his theory.

The problem is that creationists sometimes seams to thinks the fossils (or THE fossil) is the only evidence. The purpose of my post was of course to highlight the fact that there exists multiple independent lines of evidence which converges onto the same conclusion: evolution have occurred.

How about you show me where they share common traits.

By reproduction. Now show me an example of two natural occurring created organisms that have same traits not caused by reproduction.
