I haven't avoided it all. I've given my reasons why it doesn't prove evolution and provided links. I don't feel the need to keep, going over it. Yeah I know you believe your links debunk my links. Well my links debunk yours. See how silly that is. Bottom line the retro virus thread is wishful thinking and proves nothing.

When you use such strong language, such as "disproves evolution," that puts you in the precarious position of claiming you are smarter and wiser than all these scientists and therefore have information that will turn science on its head. Now, I have a hard time believing that.

I not defining anything. I have provided proof. Next time you find a creature who has done what man has done and walks and talks and builds and does math formulas and can go to the moon then you can tell,me how we are the same. When monkeys can invent a cure for a disease then you might have a case. But until then I'm afraid you are barking up the wrong side of the tree.

No, you have not done that. All you have done is to show that you have a lack of understanding in this subject.

I am not smarter, but I get my knowledge and wisdom from the the Word of God. If you think I am stupid for doing so, then so be it. Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

So, if science directly contradicts what is written in Gods word I then know that science is wrong. Gods word is right.

So you are saying that the Earth does not orbit the sun:

Science clearly disagrees with the Bible on this.

What you really mean is that if science disagrees with YOUR INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE, then science is wrong. It isn't "God's word" that you hold in such high esteem, it's YOUR UNDERSTANDING of such.

I see why now.

According to the Rainbow Study Bible:

Content: This personal letter from Paul to his close ally Timothy serves several purposes. It offers hope and comfort to keep young Timothy on the right path and is a sign for the church that Timothy has the express backing and support of the Apostle Paul. Paul offers Timothy advice for his congregation on these concerns: proper worship; qualifications for the church officers; relationships with widows, elders and slaves; and the evil of loving money. Admonitions permeate the letter with counsel to help the Christians live godly lives in a healthy church committed to following good and fleeing evil.

Key Words: "Doctrine"; "Qualifications." Paul exhorts Timothy to remain true to God's way and to follow no other "doctrine." Specific examples of God's way include a list of the "qualifications" which the Lord has given for the church's leadership.

Themes: · There is only one true doctrine, and only committed Christians are capable of living within it. · What we really believe as doctrine will be exhibited by our attitudes and actions. · Age is no barrier to being used mightily by God. · True leadership is God-given, not man-made. · As an athlete must train, so a Christian must exercise and discipline his faith.
Yes, it is a worthy letter, containing much wisdom. That's why it was included in the Canon and belongs there even if Paul himself didn't write it.

If Paul didn't write it on God's behalf, it doesn't belong where it is now.

Yet you cited it's Christian orthodoxy as the reason "liberal" Bible scholars were attempting to discredit its Pauline authorship. Doubts about the authorship some of the Epistles go as far back as the formation of the Canon, yet the Fathers included them anyway, on their merits.

The same goes for the Gospels. There were quite a few different gospels in the past, the four Gospels that the Christians follow now were named after they were adopted. Though Luke and Acts may have been written by Luke. None of them seem to have been written by the much vaunted "eyewitnesses" that Christians try to site.

Can you put a pile of money, consisting of one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten dollar bills in two piles: one pile, a pile of legal tender, and the other pile, a pile of non-legal tender?

If you had 100 bills to work with, how long would it take for you to do it?

My guess would be no more than five minutes.

What say you?

It only describes the world as flat in both word and deed. It never says that the Earth is spherical or even implies that.

ETA: The Bible is full of errors and you seem to have admitted that. If you ignore the fact that the Bible says that the Earth is stationary then you are ignoring one of the many mistakes of the Bible. It is blasphemy to claim that the Bible is the word of God because by doing so you accuse God of gross incompetence. Not a wise move if one believes in God.

Well it's pretty obvious you don't understand Bible Literature. I suppose God looks like a door and has feathers too.

What I understand is that if taking those statements literally protected some pet Fundamentalist doctrine, then God would indeed have to look like a door and have feathers.

You defined humans as being different than apes. You just asserted that they are different.

Chimps are different from gorillas, are they not? Are they both still apes?

Chihuahuas are different from wolves, are they not? Are they both still canines even though they are different from one another?

There is a species of monkey that did cure disease. That species is Homo sapiens.
Oh man you crack me up. [emoji1] That's funny no matter who you are! I guess I lost that argument didn't I. Hahahahahaha!

We have similar feet to monkeys? Oh well that is definitely proof right there! And throw 98% DNA of monkeys and you have a case for sure. But that 2% difference makes all the difference in the world doesn't it. Makes us NOT monkeys. Throw in all the other stuff and we definitely are not monkeys. Like I said when monkeys can build an automobile and learn algebra then I'll stand up and take notice. But for now they sit around and throw poo on each other and pick lice off each other.

Well I guess we humans Do the same thing to each other we just use social media, Which we invented by the way, to throw poo.

Just cause we categorise ourselves as monkeys doesn't mean we are.
