If you don't immunize your children, you open them to diseases which would otherwise be avoidable.

You also open society up to diseases which your children may get.

With all the illegal immigration going on in the US, diseases which were once nonexistent in the US, have returned.

Get your children immunized and avoid following Dr Internet.

Jim

I did not think about all the people flowing into the USA from the Third World
kind of makes worrying about a few hundred unvaccinated kids from the suburbs seem silly when millions of unvaccinated Illegal Immigrants have come over here

Well it is not just that. There are people that travel from the USA to different countries and return. We just had our first case of Zika Vitus in the state today. Someone traveling back from Haiti has it. Although there is so cute but can be helped with treatment there is still danger to pregnant women and their infants.

Again, I'm not saying I know everything which is why I asked in the first place.

I am not trying to be combative. I admit I am really scared by how much bad information is out there and how many lives are being put in danger because of it. I guess I am admitting my bias or angst.

Second, no they did not die. Obviously. But, I do know of people who have had children die as a reaction to certain vaccines.

You personally know people who have had kids and on their autopsy it says they died from an adverse reaction to a vaccine? Or do you know of people whose kids died and later blamed it on vaccines?

When kids die, especially just randomly, parents desperately look for any reason or cause, however wrong it may be. It enables them to go on a crusades to get other parents to put their children in danger because accepting their kid just died and nothing can come from it is too hard.

I see where you are coming from but I don't think people should have their children taken away. That's beyond ridiculous. Abuse, yes. Horrid living conditions, yes. But, a perfectly happy home where a parent literally goes to the doctor for any ailment but chooses not to vaccinate has their children taken away? That's insanely militaristic and horrible. Taking a parents right away is not okay.

Parents do not have a right to neglect their kid and expose other people's children to diseases.

If a parent exposed their 'natural' child to a child of mine that was not yet old enough for the vaccine to the disease, you can.... leave what I'd do to your imagination.

the use of aborted babies in the development of vaccines is crime and a sin,

It is?

and God will punish those who did that

God is going to punish people who have saved tens of millions of lives because they used dead fetal material donated to them.

Do you have a bible you can pound while typing this?

you did not kill any child, you did not act like a ghoul and manipulate the corpse to design medicine

They didn't manipulate a corpse. They developed a cell line from bits of material.

I'm curious. The vaccines that were derived from fetal cells... were these cells from an aborted fetus or a miscarriage? And if there was study on miscarried fetuses wouldn't this fall under something the church encourages like organ donation?

So, I have done a lot of research on vaccines and I'm not convinced they work well, if at all. Call me crazy, but my children have had many adverse reactions so I'm really in a dilemma. California law says they must be vaccinated to go to public school (which I really don't want them at anyways, but I've been struggling with homeschooling so it's one of the only options I have) another thing is (and it's been confirmed by both of my doctors so I'm not crazy) Most vaccines, especially the flu shot have aborted fetal tissue in them. There is actually a huge market for lung tissue from aborted males during a certain gestation time. Anyways, how is it okay as Catholics to even vaccinate knowing that there is literally dead children in vaccines. Again, I'm not trying to sound crazy. I've been very pro vaccination until I found out about the many adverse effects and ingredients. Not to mention my own experiences. Just curious on your thoughts.

Go to vac truth.com and read some stories. The preponderance of circumstantial evidence is huge and don't neglect to inspect accusations of media manipulation and how re-diagnosing helps cover up starting with Salk's polio "success".

I never said I was interested. But it sure is swell you called me dishonest. I certainly wasn't interested in conspiracy theories. I am not interested in other view points on this issue because there are no legitimate other viewpoints. There is this thing call science. It is really nice in that it shuts up uneducated nutjobs from being taken seriously by educated professionals.

Substantiation of your interest expressed:
"Or do you know of people whose kids died and later blamed it on vaccines?"
I didn't ask or expect your approval of the site, but you can find stories there...

If you're still interested.

I asked her if the people she referred to had kids that died and later blamed it on vaccines.
I expressed no interest in crazy online conspiracy theories.

I wonder if the OP reported the bad reactions to the vaccines her children received? There is a process for doing that. Did she contact her doctor when the reactions occurred, and what did the doctor do and say about them? How soon did the adverse reactions occur after the vaccinations? Were those reactions consistent with reactions that could be expected to occur? Since the chance of a fatal reaction to most vaccines is extremely rare, is the OP certain that the deaths of the children she mentioned were due to a vaccine? Note that the oral polio vaccine was discontinued when it was found that 1 in every 2,400,000 children who took it contracted polio. Not died, but got the disease. The issues and risks with vaccines ARE monitored.

I question these statements as I checked with four doctors I know (3 are family, 1 a pediatrician) and an RN. None of them know of any patients who died from a vaccine, and they were aware of only a small number of mild adverse reactions. And they all have had their children vaccinated.

I can recall a time when many vaccines were not available, including for polio. I know of children who contracted polio before the vaccine. I know of none since. As a young child, there was a great fear by parents of their child getting polio, to the point of not letting them play with other children during the summer, or leave their yard. That all disappeared when the vaccine became available. None of my children or grandchildren have had to deal with the childhood diseases that were rampant when I was young. Thanks to vaccines.

I think you need to find much better quality research. If you really don't want to send your kids to school they could go to online school but I only recommend that for middle or high school. It's healthier socially to go to school when you're younger. I go to one but not because of vaccines. I'm vaccinated. I play community sports and we have to show our vaccine proof for that, too. Many colleges require proof as vaccination.

^ proof of vaccination, not as.
