I see a man that hangs his entire world on verses and intellect in this response. I don't see the markings of allowing scripture to flow from chapter to chapter as it so naturally and easily does. I think that Israel Divorced God, but God never stopped loving her. From Genesis to Revelation, the narrative of God having a painful on and off relationship with His Jewish Bride screams from the very pages... far beyond "Verses" that were never there, when the words were penned without chapter or verse.
