If that were true, lol, then it would be killing Western games, not the other way around.

I've lost interest in the style. I never even finished Ocarina of Time. I used to love the Legend of Zelda games too.

that’s a shame ocarina was the 1st Zelda game i ever beat helped get me hooked on Zelda wait may have bin links awakening even liked windwaker but the sailing was a pain especially with links new found super drowning skills.

I've played it for a couple of hours and it's pretty good. However, I have a couple of major complaints:

1. The Wii Motion Plus controls are stiff and frustrating. The regular Wii controls worked flawlessly in Twilight Princess and yet here the new controls just feel clunky and forced. I'm hoping this will improve as I get further into the game but so far I rarely feel like I have control of Link.

2. The graphics are terrible. The colors and art style are wonderful but the game looks messy and blocky on my HDTV. I'm typically not too picky about graphics but Zelda is a series that demands more and I expected a much better looking game.

It's still solid and I'm not far enough into it yet to reach a definite conclusion. I'm enjoying it but honestly I'm disappointed that more of these technical problems weren't ironed out, especially as long as they took making it.
