I can't vote for any of those choices. God didn't tell us much about how the world was created, and for any of us to say we know how it was done is just plain silly.

I would suggest to you that you try to forget the issues like denomination, origins theology and controversial doctrines and the opinions of folks on message boards and try to focus on discovering Christ through reading the gospels and talking to other Christians in person about who Christ is, what he did for you. Experiencing Christ daily in your walk. Be rooted in Christ, not these ever changing positions that you will always get on message boards.

Holly is a lovely person and I think it's great that she is willing to learn, grow and change her mind.

~ What is most significant in the creation account of Genesis is what the Bible does not say.
~ We don't know how many days, years, decades, centuries, millenium etc that Adam and Eve were in the garden before the fall. It might have been one day, it may have been millions of years. All this time there was the area outside of the garden that existed on the earth.
~ What is clear that GOD created the Heavens (plural) and Earth.
~ Do young/old earth creation theories affect YOUR salvation? Do either the gap theory or theistic evolution change the fact that Jesus died for your sins?
~ Personally, I find that we can find holes and problems with each of the above stated ideas as well as the 14 major schools of evolutionistic theories.
~ Someday when we are in glory we will know for sure.
~ Continue to discuss amongst yourselves...
