  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not to be judgemental of a "well-meaning" friend who has taken a bit of liberty "getting in my personal business". I intend to address the matter with her, but don't want to till I cool down a bit but she is relentless and getting on my nervesso I'm WORKING on not being so "easily offended", cause I know she really has good intentions.

The weather has passed, the sun is out...so I am off to the garage to arrange for some car body repairs.
I was hit by someone last week ~ he lost control on a narrow icy road (500 ft from my house!) and came right into my path (no injuries...PTL!)

Let's see Wednesday is always my day off so here's what I've done so far:

Got up at about 9 am
went to mass at 10 am
drove down to my mom and dad's for the day
had lunch with Mom at a new restaurant
napped
did some stuff around their house to help them out
read and posted on here

Later on I will be going out to dinner with both my parents (they hate cooking).
I will probably work on some scripts that a friend and I are writing.
I know I will definitely be watching American Idol and then curl up with a good book.

enjoy sitting outside in the 54 degree weather with my lap top and breathe in the fresh air. go for a mile walk.

start reading ted dekkers " the bride collector"

Hello all! Thanks for the link and the invite, J4J...looks like a fun thread.

Today, I finished this (horse painting) and worked on several more paintings. It was quite a productive painting day. I am almost finished with 5 other paintings- just a few more touch ups and highlights needed.

Of course, I still need to do the dishes...clean up, feed my child...

Must drink coffee.
